"Free of [...] frustration".
I had to rage quit this game 3 times. I really wish there was an accessibility setting for this game, for those of us who don't have the dexterity and precision required for some of the puzzles and jumps in this game. Such a shame, since I really enjoyed it otherwise.

Incredibly beautiful game, easy to learn (few keyboard controls), interesting story (with occasional funny notes as well), runs great, music is superb.
I wish it was longer just because I like it so much, but for the price tag I sure feel like I'm getting what I paid for (5hrs in and I'm not done yet, and did I mention this game is breathtaking?!).
Totally recommend this game and I think both new and longtime gamers can appreciate it!

Only negative thing I have to say is that the font for "my" thoughts/questions is totally wrong. I feel it's dated, ugly and doesn't suit the game overall. But that's really a minor thing, and with surroundings like these who the heck has the time to care about a font, right? (Nitpickers like me apparently.)

Seen some people complain about the narrow FOV, personally I don't think it is that small - I didn't have that thought at all when I started playing and after reading others complain about it I still don't feel it has to be any bigger.

Early Access Review
Update when writing this review: 221.2

The game has been played on the following computers:
i7-6700k (4.00 GHz), 8GB RAM, GTX 970.
i5-4670k (3.40 GHz), 16GB RAM, GTX 660ti.
i5-3337U (1.80 GHz), 8GB RAM, GT 740M (laptop).

The game runs on all computers, with a crash here and there on the laptop after a couple of hours.
I (obviously) can't run good graphics on the 660ti, but the graphics have certainly gotten better with that card thanks to dev's updates! There's been times when my fps drops to 3, which I think is the 660 overheating more than it being ARKs fault.
If I resist the urge to crank everything up to max on my 970 my framerate is holding steady at at least 45, sometimes I get up to 70fps.

I've played this game for just over a month now and I really enjoy it. I host my own server where there's only me, my BF and a friend though (after reading others reviews I get the feeling I wouldn't like it as much if I just played on open PvP-servers). Most of my friends have been pestered by me saying: "you should play ARK with us!" - and I honestly think they (and you) should.

Gathering & getting materials can be tedious, here's some tips (no cheating):
Gigantopithecus -> enable wander -> get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of fiber.
Doedicurus -> enable wandering -> get hundreds of stone.
Bronto -> swosh that tail around a few times -> get thousands of berries (and thatch. Giganto is also pretty good at getting berries, but doesn't gather them by themselves on wander).
Mammoth -> headbutt some trees -> get a lot of wood.
Quetzal -> attack stuff -> get a bunch of prime.
Sabertooth -> gets a lot more chitin when harvesting dead bodies, than for exaple the raptor.
Ankylo -> good for getting stone, flint, obsidian, metal, crystal.

There we go, your E-key should get some rest now.

10/10 thanks to reaction of friend when poking a stack of explosives with my sword. It did open the door we needed to open, so I highly recommend this strategy.
