As one of the original players of this game who preordered way back in 2016, I can say that this game has come SO far. Hello Games released a disappointing product, but rather than abandon it they poured their hearts and souls into this game. After the origins update from earlier this year, I believe the game is now what was promised at launch, which may not seem like much, but it goes to show how dedicated the devs are to this game. This game has gone from being the greatest disappointment of a videogame I've ever played to being one of my favorite games of all time. It's casual gameplay might not be for everyone, but in my opinion as of 2020 this game is definitely worth a buy.

Even since I originally wrote this review the devs have continued pumping out free major updates regularly. This game is by far the greatest redemption story in all of gaming. Yeah.
