The most intense combat simulator I've played in ages. Think Planetside or Battlefield just top down, and ungodly addicting. You gain experience, you rank up, you get better weapons, you call in air/artillery strikes, drive vehicles and shove your rifle up the respective bungholes of your enemies. This is the best indie game I've ever played. Plus you have multiplayer... that's pretty BA too.

10/10 Would shove rifle up bungholes again.

Although this bad boy isn't done, I can already see greatness as I smash a shovel against a rival gang member's face.

What's even better? Freaking Rainbow Road covered in Biker blood, that's what!

A simple, yet tactful foray into GeoSim Combat games. It's like Risk in Real time and with Nukes!

Also, Germany's capital is Tokyo. Gerjapmanese. Gerjaps.

I enjoy this game thoroughly. Makes me think of a mix of CnC and Starcraft mixed with a MOBA. For the Goo! All shall bow to the Goo!

If this game was pizza, I'd eat it and tell my friends about it.

I want to start off by saying, I was not impressed by Endless Space. So going into this game I was highly skeptical and I felt that Age of Wonders 3 was going to be a superior game in all aspects. Also, if you'd rather watch my review rather than read it, well, here you go:

Thankfully, I was horribly wrong. Endless Legend is a refreshing 4X Fantasy Turn-based Strategy game that has a beautiful aesthetic, simply beautiful music and an incredibly immersive world. Artistically, you can see where Amplitude was trying to create it's own world rather than copy and paste the Civ Map and formula with it's interesting terrain design, huge assortment of resources and even its graphical style. Exploration in this game is an absolute treat and you will find yourself scouting out the various corners of the world with glee; meeting new races, looting abandoned ruins, and solving the mysteries of this ancient world. Amplitude continues to flex is development muscle with it's intricate Unit Customization tools which are incredibly simplistic yet allow for all sorts of loadout variants for your troops and heroes.

What's wrong with the game you ask?

The worst thing (which isn't even that bad) is the combat system. From the time I have put into it, it really seems like it plays itself, just like Endless Space. Essentially, I spend far more time autoresolving the battles rather than playing them. The tutorial is also not incredibly effective at explaining a lot of the economic portions of the game or even explaining the finer points of the battle system.

All in all, this game is freaking awesome and has proved to be one of the best modern 4x games to date! Hats off to Amplitude, you've made a fan out of me.

At first... I felt the game was a very cheap rehash or attempt to encompass the feeling of the original Gauntlet.

But this, this is something different. The graphics are definitely not Gorgeous nor is there much of a story but the gameplay is very addicting and incredibly fun when playing with friends, especially as each one of you struggles to maintain control of the Crown and rather than mowing down the mindless hordes of enemies, you end up "screen-locking" your buddy so he gets enveloped by Death. Let's just say it was enough fun that two buddies of mine and myself stomped through the first two chapters within 45 minutes.

Being made by Arrowhead Studios, it's not surprising at all that this game feels wildly similar to Magicka, even going so far as to say the humour is familiar (A character named Questor, and the Boots of "Ranadam." It really brings in that old school core of Video Games, you know not trying to be more than it is and instead focusing on the fun factor.

If you're going into this game with an open mind and wanting to knock some zombie hordes with a few buddies on a Saturday night, this is the game for you.

I hope, nay I pray, that no other soul be forced to play this awful monstrosity of a game lest it be in a sarcastic manner for YouTube's LP or friend's humor sake.

Let ye be warned; Day One: Garry's Incident's Developer has "failed to acquire enough funds from sales" to continue development and this pile of droppings is unsupported. Spare your wallet, spare your time, buy Rust.

I warned ye, may the remaining team muster a shed of decency and bury this creature deep in the Arizona desert... next to the recently uncovered copies of E.T.
