Simple, hilarious, fun and addicting. For only 9.99 this game is pretty damn good! It's basically a board game where players take turns simultaneously and battle each other to win voters from each state in a bid for the 2016 presidential election by running support ads and even attack ads while giving speeches, purchasing buildings, hiring operatives and securing endorsements from major National Organizations. You've got a wide cast of characters from the both the Democrat Party and the Republican party (yes, even hilariously modeled Trump and Al Gore). If you don't like either of those, you can make your own candidate (mine is an evil buck-toothed, top hat wearing megalomaniac with a Staff of Power) and customize their stats. Each campaign can be customized to be longer, harder, and you can even affect the various starting stats of all the states (wealth, population, electoral votes, etc). Simply stated, this game is a lot of fun, just don't go in expecting anything serious!

I love this game. This is basically a Banished I can get behind. Banished in Space is the most simple way of describing it but honestly I feel like it's a more balanced, interesting experience. To start off, you have a few starting resources which you use to become sustainable, essentially you're not dead. By mining new resources, processing and growing crops, you build up enough resources to start expanding your base. Eventually you'll have a town (of sorts) where traders and new colonists will regularly visit. Personally, I find the survival portions of the game to be the most fun as the challenge is intense. You never know if a stray meteorite is going to ruin all your efforts or if you forget to close the airlocks of your base during a sandstorm, colonists can stray outside which can lead to their deaths. It's fun and requires heavy micromanagement. The concepts are simple but the right formula for survival will keep players on their toes. I definitely recommend this Economic survival Base Building game.

It was a simpler time, it was a pre-Dawn of War and Company of Heroes time... and it had flying sex snakes.

Considering this was the one Relic game I never game I went in not knowing what to expect. However, I can immediately see the influences this game would have on those two future greats. This game is a blast and I highly recommend it to fans of Relic or purveyors of classic base-building RTS's.

Of all the games I expected to play today... this was definitely not one of them, yet how happy I currently am. This game was one of the best educational games of my childhood, right up there with Treasure Mountain and Reader Rabbit... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you guys remember Math Blaster? Buy this game, relive the 90's when educational games were actually profitable and show those damn Zoombinis how to get to their new home!

P.S. I'm 23 years old and I still ♥♥♥♥ up the Frog minigame.

Just wow. What else can be said about this game that hasn't already been said? It's Warhammer and Left4Dead (Payday) in a sweet, beautiful combination of gory, brutalistic and satisfying team-based combat. Graphically, it's incredibly appealing and the artstyle is undoubtedly Warhammer. There are dozens of different weapons to choose fromj that each have their own strengths and weaknesses (Dat Handgonne doe). Seriously, I'm in love.

Here's to hoping they don't put the Ultramarines in it.

Wait strike that, running around this game with a Thunder Hammer would be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ glorious!

As a former Car Salesman and even Service Writer, this game has nailed it. Especially the random events you get (a customer had ♥♥♥♥ in the backseat of the car).

The idea is simple, you run a car dealership where you can set the prices, upgrade the building, run a service department and manage your used and new car inventory. When you upgrade your building, you get more showroom traffic and service department customers thus leading to more money. Be careful not to run out of inventory however or your Customer Service Rating will lower. The CSR affects how many customers will actually come to your dealership. The higher the better.
So what do I think of the game?

It's fun, maybe a bit too simplistic but it really does a great job of keeping the business management understandable and playable in a game format without providing over complicated mechanics (like dealing with accounting or the finance institution negotiations). Personally, I love the random events that occur in the game, some are serious but others are hilarious. Even the random "special characters" that show up tend to spice up the gameplay (a customer who talks ♥♥♥♥ to you in the showroom). For 4.99, I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys tycoon games or is just interested in a peek at running a car dealership!

Wow. I'll admit, I went into this game without much knowledge of it at all... and after the time I've spent with it, I can only say... Rebel Galaxy is totally badass!
However, allow me to explain the basics of the game. Simply, you're a Space Cowboy, living on the edge of the law and banditry. You explore the vastness of space, blasting away pirates or helping them incinerate innocent traders while completing missions and getting rich. You get your own equipment customizable spaceship where you can fire broadsides, flak, missiles and all sorts of vaporizing goodness. There are even quite a few ships that you can purchase should you gain enough money. The concept is simple, the gameplay is addicting.

The game also has an epic sound track of catchy guitar twangs as you blow Space Pirates into nonexistence. The voice acting is also very solid. As if that wasn't good enough, the gameplay is fluid and the controls make sense. While the control isn't as indepth as Space flight sims like Elite: Dangerous, it's more than enough to keep players interested while also keeping the gameplay fast-paced.
All in all, I definitely recommended this game!

I always love me a good Tycoon game. Especially one that has a real "Code Monkeys" type vibe. The concept is simple, you own your own studio in the Empire TV building where you schedule tv shows and movies with varying "freshness" and "quality" ratings (generally the highest) in an attempt to become the most successful channel on cable. You have the ability to buy new movies/tv shows (or pirate them) while also selling old stock to keep an influx of fresh content rolling on your channel. You're also able to schedule ad blocks to supplement your income and you can even purchase advertisement which will boost viewer numbers. There are an assortment of other features in the game from Award Shows, Studio upgrades, making your own movies/tv shows based on a point system and so on. You will be doing all of this while competing against 2 other players (AI). Be sure to move fast though, the AI players are incredibly efficient and will not make your rise on the Silver Screen, easy.
So what do I think of the game?
Well, it's simple, addicting and all about managing time and money in an efficient manner. Despite it's simplicity, Dreamsite managed to include a pretty decent amount of depth and things to do in the game, so you will never be "waiting" around for something to happen. The TV business is constantly rolling and if you even think about slowing down, you will be left behind. It would've been nice if the dev could've gotten more music, it seems like there are only about 2-3 songs in the game that play on loop but honestly, that's just a minor issue. Aesthetically, it's your usual pixel based game... personally, I love it because it makes me think of G4's Code Monkeys! What it does, it does well and it even has time to throw in a lot of Pop Culture references such as actual movie titles; Star Wars, Back to the Future etc and even features TV/Movie characters like Don Draper, Silent Bob and "Doc" Brown. So, I think it's pretty clear that I very much enjoy the game.

I very much like this game. It's a good mix between Sim Junta, Democracy 3 and Rulers of Nations. The simplicity and short gameplay like Sim Junta, the various policy selection and experimentation of Democracy 3 and the background complexity of Ruler of Nations.
The concept is simple, it is a turn-based geopolitical simulation game where you are the ruler of a newly established country called the People's Republic of Basenji and you must strive against unhappy citizens, a power-hungry brother, an imperialistic UN/USA and the desires of your neighbors. You will have events that pop up where you must make hard choices that will determine the fate of Basenji and affect your popularity with the 5 groups of citizens (Capitalists, Patriots, Fundamentalists, Liberals and Qariffi (I think that's spelled right). You also need to keep the loyalty of your own military or else your brother Farouk will swiftly eject you from power. You adjust policies that range from minimum wage requirements to your country's alcohol tolerance laws which will affect your standing amongst the various groups and will change from turn to turn. You also have the ability to maintain a military and invade your neighbors or garner the affections and attentions of the UN and US, either to your benefit or detriment. From the time I've spent with the game so far, I don't think you can win... you just do a little better each time and (like Plague Inc.) every time you complete a game, you're able to unlock more special modifiers to change up the experience.
Artistically and musically, this game really excels. While neither are perfect, they really set the mood and help to immerse you in your new role as president of Basenji. I just love that everyone is voiced as well... it shows there is a lot of love and labor that has been put into the game.
All in all, I love this game. Simple yet addictive with a wealth of content for only 12.99, this is arguably one of the better low budget Geosims I've played in a long time. Highly recommended.

As most would probably agree, this isn't really what one would consider a God-Game like Black & White, From Dust or Populous. It's more of a relaxing, simplistic terraforming puzzle game. Essentially, you have a planet of varying dimension and size that rotates very slowly. By clicking on the color of the ground, you match it with the combinations on the left of the screen to unlock more terraforming features (for example a forest or a mountain). Placing a mountain or a forest requires the ingame resource, AWE, which you stockpile by matching additional color types. For example, I've unlocked forest by clicking brown land types and blue land types but I don't have enough Awe to place it. Now I must gather awe by clicking brown, brown, blue, blue etc etc. It's all very simple and surprisingly addictive and with the incredibly mellow music playing in the background, you will easily slide into this game feeling relaxed and unpressured. Keep in mind, you don't want to terraform all the spaces on a planet until you unlock all of the terraforming features... otherwise, you'll have to start over.
Summed up, this game is totally worth a dollar just for the peaceful experience alone. Definitely recommended.
