Dead by Daylight is an extremely fun game, but for new players it can feel like a pretty overwhelming experience. There are a ton of little tricks and nuances to playing that you won't pick up until you've put in a pretty serious amount of hours, but once you know them the game becomes extremely addicting.
Honestly the game has had some rough patches over the past 7 years but lately I feel the game and updates have been headed in a very positive direction.
The community for the game can be a little rough sometimes, but for the most part it's pretty easy to just say GG and go next. It's really just an extremely vocal minority, and there's really no better feeling than memeing around with a wholesome group of survivors or a goofy killer.
