While I think the concept is great for a horror game in theory, this just isn't it. I found the game immensely boring, and it took less than an hour to finish the game. I could go for all the achievements, but why bother, I got everything I needed out of the game. If you are a fan of jump scare video games, this could possibly be for you, but I've played plenty of jump-scare focused games, and after the first 2 levels, there was no real uniqueness to it anymore, I most knew where and what to expect. Big kudos to the solo developer though, I think the concept is right on and with some tweaking (and expansion) this could be pretty good.

I really don't understand all the negative reviews...ok, I lie, I 100% understand the negative reviews because of that horrible "make FPS great again" bs, but I'm not rating that, I'm rating the game. I've had a lot of fun with this game so far. I honestly didn't even realize Splitgate 2 was coming out until I saw a launch trailer for it. I played the first a bit during Covid, liked it, but never came back to it. Splitgate 2 has a lot more staying power. I typically HATE Battle Royal modes, but I've enjoyed this one so far. Really just feels like an expanded version of Arena modes with some BR elements thrown in.

I've only put in a few hours so far, but I've noticed no bugs or lag anywhere. The weapon variety in BR mode is pretty decent. I wish there were more options for your load out, especially in BR mode, but I imagine that will be developed further over time.

Is the game anything revolutionary? Beyond the portal elements, no, not at all. But its a solidly built shooter that seems to be decently balanced. I expect I'll be playing many hours of this game.

I'm only 5 hours into the game, but can comfortably say this is some of the most pure fun I have had with a game in a while. It is unequivocally the best Lego game I've ever played (I've only played a handful of them), and one of the best Star Wars game. The in-universe jokes and humor are spot-on for any casual or hardcore Star Wars fan. The gameplay is simply delightful. The kind of joy only Lego can bring. Obviously, no real difficulty or learning curve here, and that's why it is so appealing. For when I'm angry at the sweats on Call of Duty, or annoyed with the difficulty of more intense AAA titles, this game is here to be your weighted blanket. It's here to keep you comfy while you relax as you drift into mindless Star Wars fun.

Seemingly endless hours of entertainment await me! It's a game built around 9 full movies in an open world, story driven environment. What's not to love?!?

What do you think of when you think of Doom? Is it the fun OG shooter from the 90s? The first time you played the horror-paced Doom 3? The nostalgia-inducing Doom 2016?
Well, whatever you thought of before, after playing this Doom, this is the game you'll think of every time you hear or think of "Doom". And that, my friends, is a very, very good thing.
