Reviewing solely based on logic I've seen applied to other ARPG games.

PoE2 Launch was bad, so therefor PoE2 is bad.

Can't recommend a product that pumps profits and pulls the rug on employees

Unsafe: Game refuses to respect maximum framerate limits and continues to run at high cpu and gpu usage despite multiple patches claiming that it has been fixed. No other idle or incremental games I've played have had this issue.

Final update:
Now requires 3rd party Sony account after being told it wasn't necessary. Why did they do this? Most likely to get some kickback for data from Sony. Too late to refund (over 100 hours) but you can save yourself from the same mistake. This company can't release a good game and let it stay good. They needed to put their grubby fingers all over it, over and over again, until it was unfun, and soon to be unplayable without selling your data away.

Update after less gameplay:
Game stuck in perpetual balancing cycle, every time you get ahead, they nerf it to the ground or buff the enemies to be way tougher or never miss.

The team behind this game is amazing. This game is amazing. If you like games of this nature. You should play this game and support this team.

As of writing, this game crashes frequently. Guns, perks, kill streaks, and etc are generally imbalanced. There are many features of previous titles missing. I am having fun overall, but cannot recommend for others if you get frustrated by any of those things.

MSQ (The main story and all the quests you're required to do in order to do anything) is a slog. The game (and the aforementioned story) is good though,

Offers nothing

I had preordered this for $5 when I purchased my RTX 2070 Super, the full copy came out after I'd switched to the RTX 3070. This title was worth every penny and I can't wait to see the speedruns!
