Reminds me of the co-op fun i used to have on steam before it got littered with trash. Sadly looked passed it for a long time because i was jaded with most recent low quality/unfinished steam offerings, But i tried it on free weekend and immediately bought it. If you like Co-Op games like L4D or Borderlands i recommend.

This game or the Devs aren't really being treated fairly. Yes, i have run into bugs but they're normally a minor inconvenience or just make me laugh, the game is a lot of fun and i haven't been bored yet, even with side missions and what not.

Don't be dissuaded to try the game based on the "journalism" just make sure to have a couple saves incase you get stuck while they working on fixing the bugs.

Out of all the cheap garbage games i have bought on steam for laughs, this one actually ended up being an amusing simulator. Initially i left a bad review here for a game breaking bug, but every time i have come back to this game the bugs are fixed and i find more content. Hope this encourages the devs to keep updating periodically. People want online play and i can't say i disagree, even if it's just running the shop with friends.

Just played with 3 friends. First round someone got DC'd, got locked out of game, Why no spectating among friends?

Second time, the adventure phase kept being skipped and shooting us back to build phase. Several in our party ended up with full dungeons before we even got a hero in one of our dungeons, even tho we each had plenty of lures and were not tied. When they finally came they took forever to animate through the dungeons. We are talking like 10 minutes+ for one hero to move through.

Third time our game started off fine, the UI isn't great but we were having a normal game but then again animations of heros moving through our dungeons brought the game to a grinding hault. We laughed while we sat through an excessively long adventure phase (easily 15 mins) which continued on even tho we already had a clear 10 point winner on our team. We stopped playing.

I own the card game and was really dissapointed about the functionality of this game. I could get used to a bad UI as long as the game is still playable but this isn't. Obviously this is Early Access, but why try to sell expansions and make more money off a product that's essentailly not playable yet? tsk tsk. Why do all these early access game devs on steam run before they can walk?

I think the positive reviews are based on this titles reputation and NOT this steam port. Within the first couple hours each of my friends and i experienced crashes while navigating from menu to game. I just played a whole game with my friend infrequently respawning and when he did, running in one direction shooting wildly while he im'd me asking me what i was doing. WE WERE ON ENTIRELY DIFFERENT MAPS LOL. Trust me this is a BAD PORT. If you are looking to play some metal slug online with your friends keep waiting.
