I like this game a lot and think it fixes a lot of problems I had with 6.
I enjoy that towns make empire management less of a constant hassle.
I like the new diplomatic features (but need expansion, like adding to trade deals when asking for peace).
I like the concept of the other lands (but maps need work to not be so predictable).
Navigable rivers are cool af - big fan hope they add vikings soon.

Fabulous aesthetics and (unlike most beautiful games) has the gameplay to match.

Game like basketball 1v4 but you're 6'9 against 5'4 people.

An unlikely success, Cat Warfare is developed by a small team of 5. Probably one of the most intriguing games of this generation, the game annihilates the status quo of 'humans shooting one another' by strapping futuristic guns onto the side of cute (yet bad-ass) cat models and sending them to battle.

The controls. They're excellent. Although one might think a cat would control differently from a human, they're wrong. Cats are super smooth to control and the shooting feels decent. I would be lying if I said it was able to rival smooth shooters such as Krunker. However, it makes up for this with a myriad of interesting weapons. The inclusion of the Tesla gun really behoves the game's overall flow too - often complimenting the map design and adding to the chaos and fervour Cat Warfare is so famous for.

Next, the customisation. It's in a good place. Undeniably more options are needed in order to encourage proper levelling and fun balance. I would particularly like to see a form of weapon progression and customisation, alongside the excellent way you can personalise your feline in the game.

Furthermore, thanks to twitch streamer James76931's influence on the game, its fanbase is growing steadily. With a tight, yet rapidly repopulating player base, there's never been a better time to strap on your collar, brush your fur, and get into battle.

Bought the game. Played Tutorial. Played 8.5 hours with two friends until 4 am. It's a good game.
