I initially bought and played this game (along with the DLC) on Switch. I loved it so much that I put in the effort to 100% it. My love for the game made me want to buy it all on Steam and go through it all again just so I could show off all the achievements here.

If you're a fan of old-school Zelda games, it has a very similar combat style. The fact that you can explore and hunt down treasure chests gives you a reason to look at every inch of the pretty pixel art. There are a few parts where the story could seem confusing but putting it all together at the end is fun. While the DLC isn't necessary, it does have some interesting implication for the world as a whole. That's all I'll say as I don't want to spoil the story.

I'd say give it a try. I personally enjoyed it and found it worth the money. If you don't enjoy the first hour, then you probably won't like the rest of the game.

It's a fun little game for free. At some points, the dialogue has spelling mistakes. I'm not talking about the instances where the words are purposefully scrambled. Otherwise, the puzzles were interesting and fun to do. I had a minor issue at the end where after I solved the final puzzle, the game didn't properly finish and roll the end credits. It might've just been a glitch on my end though.
