I really like this game, but for some reason the devs decided to not do a simple slot system for the servers like every other game and instead made it so that even if a character that is made on a server is offline it takes up a slot. Currently for the older servers the biggest problem is that dead accounts (people who only tried the game out and stopped playing) are occupying a large majority of the capacity of a server therefore not allowing any new and active players to join and play. If you started on one of those servers and now you want to play with your friends they won't be able to join you. You will have to restart on a new server. The second they change this I will write a comprehensive review of why I like this game but until then it stays negative. I should mention that they have acknowledged it and said they are working on solutions but this is the most urgent problem the game has right now.

This game unfortunately is very clunky and just does not feel good to play. This was a dealbreaker for me as it was just too janky. The UI is also a mess and not intuitive to use because for some reason the dev(s?) thought to not add a conventional tool bar like every other game. I can't comment on much else since I refunded it soon after starting it. I also played it with a friend who shared a similar opinion and also refunded so at least I'm not a one off opinion.

I just don't understand how this received 82% positive ratings when basic things like this are bad. Not trying to be overly harsh I hope they improve so I can rebuy the game since I like the concept a lot.

easily Game of the Year

The game is good but it's abandoned by the devs. A year of no communication and updates. Cannot recommend it as the community is almost non existant. Unfortunately it's a "you had to be there" game now.

After having played 34.6 hours I have solved 10+ cases and done all variations of sidejobs, now I feel that I can leave a solid review after having experienced nearly everything the game has to offer so far.

Some of the bad:

1. Lots of bugs
   
2. Performance is bad but managable
   
3. No Graphics settings except for resolution and stuff like bloom/motion blur
   
4. Some of the UI elements are very laggy and can get annoying to use
   
5. The economy of how much you earn vs. how much tools cost is way off (you earn too much or tools are too cheap)
   
6. Criminals are too easy to convice to give you a tour of their house, their name or their fingerprints. This should be impossible

The cases can be very simple or really complex and since it's all randomly generated you can get unlucky and get a streak of simple cases with dumb criminals. But once you get a complex case thats where the game shines.

The game gives you a lot of tools which are fun to use but some, like fingerprints, are extremely overpowered and take away from the game rather than add to it. You get to a point in the game where you have collected a ton of fingerprints and files on people so that you can complete cases in 5 minutes if you find a fingerprint on the crime scene, which is not hard most of the time.

Some of the good:

1. Immersion is amazing in this game, they clearly have done a great job (I recommend playing a Noir Detective playlist in the background)
   
2. Randomness adds a lot to your experience. For example you can find a crime scene before it gets called in to the cops
   
3. You can enter every room in every building
   
4. You can stop crime before it happens. Not going to spoil how but this is pretty unknown as far as i know

Performance and bugs are constantly being worked on and they have an ingame bug/feedback function which works really well.
This game, despite the problems, is still fun for at least 20h and going by 1€ per hour of entertainment it's well worth it.
In general I would say that you should only buy early access games if you are ok with the price and with whats currently in the game while not expecting more content being added. They have plans of adding modding support and there are some community members already working on modding with 2 mods currently available. This game has a very bright future.

really fun TD game but for some reason it uses 100% of my 1070Ti while barely anything is happening which makes it impossible to watch streams on my second monitor. If that aspect would be fixed I would recommend it but currently it uses too much PC power for how little is happening

Looks promising but it's too early in development to recommend it.
Movement feels sluggish, melee feels weightless. In 36 minutes playtime I had a bug happen twice where i couldnt control my character anymore. The world is kinda small but it's handcrafted. Guns are too easy to get in my opinion. I had 7 guns in 15 minutes. I would recommend keeping an eye on this if you like zombie survival games but can't recommend buying it unless you want to help the dev(s?) support making it.

Great game for the price. Has a bunch of "crossover" items from tons of games. Really fun gameplay. Very diverse weapons and fun to build around different weapons each run. Well worth the money.

Pretty good Roguelike. Really cheap and in 7 hours of playtime no bugs. I have not even played all characters and unlocked all items yet. Well worth the money.
