As I predicted it would be, DARK SOULS III was.... interesting. When you first start out the lore makes zero sense but you start to piece it together by the end of the game so i'll give it a pass there. Furthermore, the combat is amazingly balanced despite the occasional wall-clipping and overpowered stagger-lock that will leave you cursing for minutes. This game WILL make you rage, and if you consider yourself to be even the slightest bit a filthy casual DARK SOULS is not for you. Either way, I personally beat the game in just under 40 hours (including the hidden areas) and I loved it. It's hard, challenging, and has just the right difficulty level. This was an 8.5/10 game and I would recommend it to anyone who is up for the challenge!

Half Life 2 was only $0.99 when I bought it during the Steam Autumn Sale of 2019. I got 15 hours of gameplay that did an outstanding job of not feeling repetitive and held a fantastic story. If there was a star rating, it would get a 5/5. Outstanding.

I purchased Tomb Raider for only $3.23 on Steam during the winter sale and got 15 hours out of the in game campaign going from 0 - 100% completion. It was fun and interactive throughout and maintained a fine balance from being to repetitive in game play. Truth be told however, after also playing the newer Tomb Raider games, it obviously lacks the same strategic difficulty when it comes to finding your way out of the tombs. Overall it was well worth the money and is an excellent purchase for your library!

Not only is it amazing that Half-Life is over 21 years old now, it continues to remain a fun and entertaining game despite its dated graphics. In my opinion at least, the fact that you can get up to 15 hours of gameplay out of a game that now costs $1 (if you get it on sale) and can virtually run on anything today makes it a must have for any PC game library. Excellent for road trips, flights, or anywhere else where computing power is limited and you want to game. Not to mention, it has a much longer Half-Life 2 to follow it.

I don't think words can describe how well CD PROJEKT RED has developed the third Witcher game in the series. Now only has it continued to exceed my expectations in the development of the story and characters, but it offers and long and expansive campaign that keeps you one edge for hours at a time. Yet, for those who like to score that sweet sweet 100% completion on a title, it makes it challenging enough without having it be too difficult. Furthermore, the fact that the DLC gives exactly what it says -- more story line -- and the developers are continuously committed to improving and patching bugs in the game (not to mention they endorse modding) it just makes it feel like they truly care about their loyal fan-base. I wish there was hope for a fourth, but in truth Wild Hunt is almost guaranteed to be the last in the trilogy. However, because of the great success of the Netflix TV show and the number of people who cam back to play afterwards, there is new hope for a fourth title.
