It can be really intriguing and it's definitely great with friends.

Solo-queue can be super 50/50 like in any other game. The community can be extremely toxic sometimes, and some of the play styles can come across as toxic for both killer and survivor. Some updates make the game feel survivor sided, and some of the updates make it lean towards killers. Very push-pull effect every update.

Personally I find that the meta builds can be pretty boring especially when you get put into games where everyone is using the same perks. It definitely takes away from the game. Or when survivors run around intentionally seeking the killers attention 24/7 and not contributing to objectives.

I recommend this game to most of my friends because I feel like if you start with the right people helping you, you'll find way more enjoyment.

You especially just have to brush off the bad games, the bad killers, or some of the toxic people who try to bully you in endgame.

It's a lot to learn and people expect you to know everything/be able to do everything immediately. They add so much every update onto an already info heavy game. Sometimes I can't even remember the BASIC perks let alone the random off-chance ones you get. Can't expect everyone to remember what they do or how to play against every perk all the time.

Just get on, do your best, have fun!

Fix your hilariously broken game

I would recommend this game to anyone because there are so many different ways for you to play it and anyone can find something to do that they like. It's pretty fun in a group setting because then roles and tasks can be split up between everyone to maximize the farm and your makings while also being able to focus on the particular aspects you enjoy.
I personally love everything about this game. Sometimes the NPC quests can be a little boring, but it is what it is. There are other things to do if you don't want to finish them or do them right away haha.

It's very simple to use and understand :)
