Larian has done it again. The divinity series was amazing, even if the older ones are dated, they played well and the stories were amazing. Baldur's Gate 3 is just another amazing game from them. If you haven't played Divinity: Original Sin or Original Sin 2, they are both worth playing. They have even more freedom of how to play than Baldur's Gate 3 as you can mix and match skillsets as well as the surfaces mechanic. It's always a joy to make it rain, coating the ground in water, then electrifying it, or turning it to steam then electrifying it, or make poison clouds. BG3, although doesn't play in to that as heavily, you can still do some of the effects like igniting flammable surfaces or freezing the ground with spells. It gives amazing dynamics to battles and this game really gives you so much freedom to play it your way as nearly every decision has a massive impact.

I agree with the devs, don't play the Dark Urge as your first playthrough unless you're planning on resisting all the urges completely and not letting the Dark Urge take over. It can easily lock you out of some major story things if you lean in to the Urge, so for a full, complete experience, play either custom or one of the other origins first, then do a dark urge.

The developers of this game are issuing bans to people who haven't played in a long time. This is an unacceptable practice. There are plenty MMOs I have played and quit playing for years and never seen a ban on my account from them (WoW, FFXIV, Path of Exile, etc). My opinion? Stay away from this game. It's fun for maybe about an hour or so. There are better, more fun games to play, such as the afore-mentioned ones.

This game really helps flesh out War more than the first Darksiders game did. The gameplay is really fun and enjoyable, though at times can be a bit frustrating as certain terrain pieces will block your dashes when trying to avoid enemy attacks. Otherwise, I have been enjoying it immensely.

I didn't think this would be as fun as it is. I bought it and started playing it with some friends and it just... There's nothing quite like taking down giant monster. Loving this game and likely to enjoy many many hours of this.

Despite the bugs and issues that crop up with the game, I haven't let that deter my enjoyment of the game. The world is deep, the characters are 3-dimensional without being over-the-top, the combat is fun and I feel like my choices actually matter in this game, feel like what I choose affects what people say to me and how I respond. Night City looks superb and this game has already been money well-spent. I feel like I'm going to be in this game as much as I was Witcher 3. CDPR has crafted another wonderful game and I look forward to seeing how things shape up and how the game performs once they are able to correct the bugs and glitches that the game has.

Amazing game. Played over 95 hours of it thusfar, completed the main story and two expansions and STILL having fun exploring and going after the points of interest. There are still many sidequests and activities I have yet to complete and I am enjoying every second of it.

If you can get this, I highly recommend it. I also recommend playing the other two games as you can import all your moral choices from game to game so you can experience the game differently from anyone else as characters react to you and interact differently according to those choices.

If you enjoy metroid-vania games as well as thinking with your head at some simple puzzles, not to mention a phenominal sound track, breathtaking graphics and animation quality, then this is the game for you. The story is amazing, the main character is both badass and super adorable, and I cannot recommend this game enough! Well worth the $20 USD for it.
