I don't like this game.

No other game has made me genuinely emotional over a button that says my name.

Pros:
-Fun collectathon! Collectables are well placed and the combat and platforming are fun.
-The art and music are very nice, and even at the parts where I wasn't having the most fun I was still able to enjoy looking around and listening to all the songs and ambient effects.
-The bosses, while somewhat formulaic, were pretty interesting to fight.
-The story was engaging and original, and I liked the characters a lot. Jack himself has some pretty good lines.

Cons:
-It's pretty short-- it only took just under 5 hours to 100% it. There is replay value in the form of speedrunning modes, though.
-A couple annoying glitches involving aspect ratio, where my game would basically change resolutions every time I died and basically reload the application every time there was a loading screen.
-While some of the minigames throughout the levels were pretty fun and interesting, others were just annoying to play, either due to wonky camera positions or controls that can only be described as painful on the wrists. I had to actually take a break after 4 attempts on the second cart race because my wrist started cramping.

All in all, while not perfect, it's a fun game and a noteworthy feat for a solo developer! I don't know about the full price considering the amount of content, but if you buy it on sale (I paid $15 myself) I'd say it's definitely worth the money.
