I need to add a positive review to this mess of emotional review bombing going on... I have about 100 hours in between this DEMO and the previous PLAYTEST. It's times like these where i think people shouldn't even be allowed to Steam review a demo. Send feedback to the developer, use the discord... Like other people have said in counter to the negative reviews, this is an evolving demo. The game is amazing, it scratches a skill ceiling itch in gaming that most games don't even know how to implement... im talking AAA massive titles that have dog water combat... this is a small team, give them real feedback, give them time, and be GRATEFUL (most importantly) for such a great combat sim on the market. K, that's it, time to go back to Gauntlet mode.

60 hours played since launch, enjoying it co-op with my little sister whom I'm reconnecting/bonding with after many years of distance and we're having the best time. So, Twitter and AAA devs, tell me again how it's "problematic" and "illegitimate". Palworld is King.

Leave it to Capcom to casually walk in for a THIRD time and remake one of their games so well that I am once again putting it's counterpart neatly in the historical archives of nostalgia, likely to not be played again (ok maybe RE4 VR cus holy crap). Seriously, this is a stunning revamp of a monumental game. Amazing work, Capcom.

Simply put: Chronicon reminds us that gameplay, ease of use and itemization trumps all else in ARPGs. Excellent foundation to build upon in future updates/expansions/etc, but it is already a stacked game with a lot of exciting gameplay due to the thoughtful itemization. At 14$, just go for it.

Needs certain improvements (no surprise, early access), but an absolute blast. Totally addictive and the progress paces well. Discovering deeper and deeper gameplay depth as I play. This is a handful of weeks into early access, folks. The sky is the absolute limit for this game. Get in now at 11.99$ and enjoy the ride of improvements (granted they don't drop the ball).

This game's skill system is the happiest I've been with an ARPG feature/mechanic since Diablo 2's runewords. No longer do I have to feel absolutely overwhelmed by a skill system like in POE (sphere grid) and Grim Dawn (devotions/multi-class felt disjointed and just not fun in the end to me). I like when classes are exclusive to their purpose and then have fun with systems within that (ie: Sentinel class being a Void Knight, Forge Guard, or Paladin). You have defined thematic elements, which I think is important. I have a ton of other things I like about it, but it would be a long review.

The game has that *it* factor and, despite being in beta with typical beta quirks and some imbalances, Last Epoch is shaping up to be an absolute home run and I'm just thrilled to be able to play it and watch it grow through patches, release and beyond. Keep up the great work 11th Hour!
