DEATHLOOP is a fantastic example of what can happen when Arkane Lyon is able to stretch their legs a little and take a step away from the Dishonored series. The gameplay of DEATHLOOP is broken down into a few parts -

The stealth
The guns
The inevitable breaking of stealth
and finally -
The combat

The combat lends itself to feeling a little lackluster as there is an interesting weapon mechanic where lower tiered weapons will jam, but I never encountered this in my playthrough of the game as I found high tiered weapons to be saved for further loops extremely quickly. The guns don't pack as much of a punch as I wish they did, but they were reliable and fun enough to use that I wasn't disappointed when I got to use them in loud situations.

If you've played dishonored, you'll be very familiar with the stealth. Enemy sees you, you either get caught or hide away very fast and they lose detection.

Overall, it's a fun game and I don't want to touch on the story at all to allow the trailers to speak for themselves and let you experience the story entirely on your own if you decide to play the game.

Risk of Rain 2 is a magnificent game that allows you to experience what it's like to be a god and then get wrecked by a giant lemur lizard.

Very fun game if you are not afraid of the sea
