Great fun solo or co-op, really sells VR as there is a certain pleasure to interacting with your weapons, everything from ejecting a clip and reloading in the heat of battle, pulling the pin on a grenade and tossing it (although it never goes as far as I would like) or actually pressing your eyeball up against the scope of a sniper rifle to line up the perfect headshot.
The setting and protagonist help to elevate this above the standard zombie shooter, with the bright sunshine (heh) and gorgeous red rocks of the Arizona desert standing in contrast to the typical night time urban settings of most horror games. The protagonist rattles off one liners like a second rate Bruce Campbell, and that's not a bad thing.
