If you enjoy this style of action role playing games (Diablo III etc.) then Torchlight 2 is a must have. It has a gorgeous art style with a lot of colour and some great looking environments. The animations and spell effects are incredibly expressive and make you feel the damage you're dealing and make the experience even more enjoyable.
The addition of New Game + and the map room towards the end means the game just keeps on giving with some new challenges and downloading mods from the Steam Workshop can add some very interesting game play elements.

Despite it's positives it still comes with the typical issues a game of this genre has. You will have times when you feel like all you're doing is grinding but they have worked well on adjusting the level curve to keep things fresh as much as possible and as said before the spell effects can help a lot with aleviating the repetitive nature.

I do love this game personally but I understand its not for everyone, however, for the price tag (especially during the sales) I would recommend picking it up and having a go, you might be surprised. Even if you're not a fan of the genre or have never tried it before I would say this is a great title to get started with, its fun, fresh, good looking to boot.
