Based on my own playthrough and watching others on youtube, I can say without a doubt this game is fun, just the right amount of challenging, and really brought me back to care about this convoluted franchise.

Is it buggy? Yes absolutely, but I believe these can be easily patched with time, but have the charm of say Skyrim level of bugs and glitches that make it a fun and unique experience, I never once felt the glitches made the game unplayable.

The pacing of the story? A little strange to be critical, I think using a single night format makes the story kind of feel rushed along, but take that with a grain of salt because I know of multiple endings and hidden areas that I havent seen yet so maybe that changes the experience.

And lastly, I think the UI could use some work, the E holding takes too long for some of the tutorial prompts, and some feel downright not needed (i.e. Parts and Services when working on Freddy). And for such a huge area of play, a better map format than constantly checking your watch would be a little bit better.

Regardless of that, I think this game reminded me of the magic of the FNAF series back when I was 12 getting jump scared by a bunch of stinky old animatronics on the night shift at Freddy's. What a way to evolve and revolutionise the franchise.

Early Access Review
So I'm seeing a lot of positive reviews, but with a bittersweet aftertaste. So allow me to put things into perspective.
The dialogue IS LONG. Like that's very clear, and usually I love dialogue in games however its just too much. That is to say, the writing is good, and I love a lot of the characters personalities, it just needs to be simplified, maybe have more animations or stills to SHOW the story not tell it, that being said I think it dies down as you move away from the tutorial stage.

The art? GORGEOUS STUNNING. Everyone loves it so I'll say no more.

The combat? I REALLY LIKE. It has all the elements of a JRPG that I love, but has awesome animations, and interesting play styles depending on who's in your party. Considering this game is in early stages, I really think you've nailed the combat, it just needs tweaks here and there, and maybe an easier way to view the status and items of your party, the menu is a little confusing at times, especially when you try to heal your member out of combat and you have to switch between your backpack and the stats to check how much health they have.

I'm not the biggest fan of the farming aspect, but I think thats just cause I favour the combat and RPG elements more, however I do think it needs an easier interface when it comes to planting and keeping track of seasons.

OVERALL: This is an extremely impressive game, that's super fun and has a lot of potential! It's not quite there yet but I think with these tips that will come with development it could really be something special! PLEASE SUPPORT THEM SO THEY CAN IMPROVE

This was my ♥♥♥♥ back in 2014, the anime came out and we all cried for the train wreck that was. Then we all hid in the shadows of the fandom that lay dormant, as we waited for any DMMD content outside of Japan. Now, finally after ALL THESE YEARS we no longer have to hunt down fan translated patches and we can actually support Nitro for their hard-work on this weird-as-hell-cyberpunk-yaoi adventure.

I'm so ready to rekindle my love for the soundtrack, the atmosphere, the artistic style and the good ol fashion BL delights. LETS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
