i dont know what i just played or how i spent 7 hours doing so,
it was great.

As someone who has enjoyed a lot both this and the itch.io version, here is my little review.

First of all, the price, sitting at around 1 - 5 bucks (depends on the country), discounts haven't been made yet, but maybe will be done in a near future, overall the game is pretty affordable for most people, even though i consider it to maybe be just a LITTLE to expensive for a game you can complete in around 2 hours, but its more understandable considering this is a visual novel, which require more effort to make that any other indie game of this size.

ill have to point out though, that this is a remaster of an already existing game that you can download for free on itch.io, the remastered version of this game offers major upgrades on the art and a couple of tweaks to the gameplay, but its overall the same experience (not saying that you should'nt buy this, the upgrades in art really make it worth it, trust me).


Gameplay-wise, its really just like any other visual novel, letting you save on different points, skip some of the chatter, etc.
Nothing special to point out.


For the lore, even though it has couple of voids in between it can be understanded easily, it may not be the most exciting thing ever, but i still consider it a very nice, cute and wholesome story, with many different endings according to the choices you make.


Speaking of wholesome and cute stuff, the art.
It is definately one of the stronger features of the game, as it has very cute art drawn in a unique artstyle, can be the main hook for most people, with gory deaths that can add a little bit of shock.


For performance and bugs i cant complain at all, its a simple visual novel that can easily run on almost anything, its not a really heavy game (150mb aprox.) and i haven't found a single bug during the time i played.


In conclusion, this has to be one of the best visual novels i have ever played, as its a short, cute, gory and fun game with an interesting story that i hope will keep up with the coming of more Purrfect Apawcalypse games, i've enjoyed this game quite a lot and i can recommend it to anyone who wants a good story, with good characters, good art, and some wholesomeness and bad puns sprinkled on top.

As someone who has completed the game 100% (including 22 easter eggs, the kaleidoscope and the achievements) here my review:

First of all i'll say that this game is very well done, but sadly is quite short (as it can be completed in about 2 hours, 3 or 4 if you want to complete everything) but those 2 hours really were a fantastic expirience, also, that the golden age of this game already ended, the game is no longer being updated and hasnt been on sale since 2017.


When it comes to price, Tattletail is quite cheap, sitting at around 3 bucks and going even lower on discounts (even though those are quite rare sadly) and doesnt come with any DLCs (the kaleidoscope being just an update) so its quite affordable for everyone.


Now with gameplay, tattletail offers a really interesting concept when it comes to surviving, it may take a little bit to get a hang of it, but it definately is fun.
The graphics look great, and are very resource intensive, so if you have a low-end pc, with the "Performance" graphic setting you'll be good (i dont even feel a difference between the two graphic settings)
The lore can be quite confusing, but it can be interesting to investigate


I honestly cant find something bad about this game, other than the fact that its quite short and after you completed the game its not very replayable


In conclusion, if you want a good light horror game to sink your teeth into for a couple of hours, this game has to be one of the best options to go for

Ok, so, i bought this game with the leftover money i had in my steam wallet after i finished buying a couple of games, and im still asking myself why i did that

First of all, this isnt a very serious game, its just a random thing someone did in like 2 days for the memes of it, in fact, all the games made by this developer team are the same, hentai parodies of real triple A games that u can finish in like 40 minutes


When it comes to price, well, its like 80 cents or something, and the dlc that it has are two paid dlcs that are about the same price as the game itself (both absolutely useless) and a free +18 DLC that just makes the model of the girl naked (which looks super unnatural) and makes the delivery agent cards NSFW


Now for gameplay and overall look, well, its, just bad honestly, the game looks very unpolished, with the terrain being very raw and weird, the model of the girl looks very unnatural (like i already said) and it looks really different to the rest of the models (probably beacuse the models for the boxes and bases are all stolen or just made by other person), and on gameplay its just running around, collecting boxes, and delivering them, like death stranding but, cheaper and boring, the missions that the game offers are basically delivering packages to certain locations, and that one dumb mission about pushing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ barrel over a cliff, the one where u get to drive a cibertruck was the only fun i had in this game honestly.


About the achievements, yeah, it has like a 100 but most of them are variations of each other and u can get them by just playing the game and they'll unlock themselves, the weight and km explored achievements are broken and are super easy to get, the likes just require finding boxes around the map.


My only good point about this is that the delivery agent cards are actually really well drawn


In conclusion, this game is just a cheap meme, and has the quality of a cheap meme, just keep those 80 cents in your wallet, this game is not worth it

El juego de verdad que es muy corto para lo divertido que es, los puzzles te matienen un buen rato pegado intentando, los dibujos son muy buenos y en general jugarlo fue una muy buena experiencia
