This game is great, but i have one complaint, its annoying, a LOT.
Maybe it was me who didnt know anything about the game before buying it but i had a lot of instances at the early game where i could have left to never touch Hollow Knight again (as many have done), because in a lot of aspects the game feels tedious on purpose, checkpoints being miles away from hard bosses, making you have to walk for 5 minutes each time you die (on rooms filled with guess what, more annoying enemies), the dark soul system thing feels completely unnecesary, and is just a way to punish you by making you lose all your geo if you make enough mistakes, a lot of techniques such as nail pogo-ing are not introduced to the player at all, even though they are 100% neccesary to progress in the game, leaving you to either figure it out by yourself or see it on the wiki/a playthrough.
But once you get over all of that, its hard to not fall in love with the game, its beatiful and unique artstyle, lovely characters, interesting lore, heavy focus on exploration with tons upon tons of secrets and little pieces of flavor text to discover, bosses that despite being quite tough are really fun and an amazing soundtrack are all things that make the game an incredible experience to play, i have already finished all the achievements in the game yet i still feel like wanting to mod it just so i can play it for a few more hours, all of that for just 15 bucks at most.

i still dont believe this is a game made by 4 people, if you can, and are up to the challenge, i 100% recommend you buy it, you wont regret it.
