Megaloot is worth a serious look. It's a dungeon crawler rogue-lite where your main focus is on upgrading your equipment.

You'll be drafting equipment from a shop and combining same-rarity copies to make bigger better items very much in the vein of an auto battler. While you can mix and match gear sets, you are strictly limited to equipping gear from three "sets". How well you're able to set yourself up to make transitions from one gear set to the other will determine how far you go.

Your effort expended into the old gear isn't wasted, however, as at the end of each floor you're given the chance to dismantle a piece of gear in exchange for a permanent stat buff. I found it useful to pick up gear with good stats that I wasn't going to try and equip just for this purpose.

You may also choose to consume the items in the shop for a temporary (one battle) buff.

It doesn't seem like much at first, but the further you go into the towers the more it starts to click. There's more decisions to make here than it seems at first.

Underneath an aesthetic that I can only describe as what you would probably see if you were to freebase social media, there’s a clever deck builder that stands out from the pack. Drafting themed packs versus taking individual cards works very well, and the way the fights play out keeps you on your toes. Real-time with pausing probably shouldn’t work this well for a card game, but it really does here. Definitely worth your $10.

Early Access Review
Thank you for adding the Popcorn Pete coin pusher. This game has single-handedly saved me from spending hundreds playing the SpongeBob pusher at my local spot.

Easily one of my all-time favorites. Feels like a tabletop game brought to life! The narrator has a tremendous voice actor and the script is charming.

Almost feels like Fire Emblem in space. No idea how I had not heard of this game.

The art style is nice, the music is GREAT, but the gameplay itself is not that great. Maybe it's personal preference, but the style of card battle feels a bit too shallow.

Such a good game. Usually I can't get into any style of JRPG due to both the art style and the trope ridden plotlines and characters, but the gameplay in this hack n slasher is just too addictive to put down. Can't go wrong for $15.

Come here if you like customization. The gameplay will make you rage, though. The game likes to pair you up against higher levels and/or people with paid subs. Both have better weapons than you and will kill you faster.
