Unexpectedly solid game. The example of a really well built souls-like where all the genre defining aspects are in their place.

I do like the original game but this DLC is so much better in every aspect, especially the story and pacing.

Despite the first game having some issues, it had quite good gunplay and itemization.
It had its flaws but still, I don't regret spending tens of hours playing it.

But who could guess that in the sequel devs would fix all the problems of the first game but keep and polish the pros it had?
Optimization issues aside it's one the best games released this year and I can imagine myself spending a couple more hundred hours playing it.
And I do want to mention the amazing art- and level design in this game.
Can recommend.

What a pure disappointment after Nioh.

Even terrible performance aside which would be a good enough reason to give this game a negative review, I can hold a long speech about how this game was dumbed down compared to Nioh, how terrible the idea to mix Sekiro's concept with Nioh's gameplay, and how weak and uninspiring the core progression system is.

upd. Давно я не видел такого сырого и непроработанного творения. Игра большей частью состоит из багов, деревянной боевки и слабых диалогов. Я искренне пытался полюбить эту игру, но сложилось ощущение что это просто попытка выехать на былых заслугах студии. Никому не рекомендую покупать это.
