Giant robots are cool and war crimes are based

The gunplay mechanics are really solid, and the settlement building system can keep you immersed for hours. Narrative wise, the game leaves a lot to be desired; story and rpg elements are pretty weak. Nuka World is pretty forgettable imo, but Far Harbor is a banger, the only story content from FO4 that i can actually say is pretty good. Also like all Beth. Software games FO4 has a massive modding community, go nuts.

I can't recommend this more. The narrative left me anxious to learn more every time I had to quit the game. And while combat in the beginning is a learning curve (being thrown around when fighting multiple machines can be annoying), once you have the pattern down and start getting that end game gear combat is a blast (however I'm a tryhard and my Aloy was OP as ♥♥♥♥ half way through the main quest, since I went through and completed nearly everything). I can't wait to learn more about the world Guerilla has made (Even so, I'm not forking over money for a PS5 just to play the next game, ♥♥♥♥ exclusives, I'll wait for the port).

This game is incredibly biased towards anyone that doesn’t have really high end hardware, and a big part of pc gaming is good performance on a budget, but cyberpunk just ♥♥♥♥♥ all over that. I have a i5-10400f, GTX 1070ti 8GB, and 32gb of RAM, and with low-medium settings on 1080p resolution I can barely pull 50 frames. Furthermore, this game also forces that Temporary Anti-Aliasing trash with no option to turn it off (which usually saves a lot of frames).

In addition, this game gets a lot of praise for how it looks with ray tracing, but without a RTX or amd equivalent, (and good luck getting those at a good price or at all right now) the difference is night and day; but ray tracing takes a big performance hit on your system. This performance loss is mitigated by DLSS technology, which is supposed to save you a lot of frames. But again, without an RTX card (AMD cards can’t use DLSS) you’re pretty much boned.

In short, if you’re computer isn’t in the top 1%, this game is going to look like trash and run like trash. Thanks CDPR for cucking people on a budget.

EDIT: Thanks to further insight, I have learned that even people with high end hardware are running into serious performance issues. Wtf CDPR, you guys were supposed to be the good ones, but I guess even you can't help releasing unfinished products

The 1.4 update is pretty good

i PAID for this game now it's free? i'll recommend it but im kinda pissed

i can't even play the dlc, game keeps crashing before i can even get close to the train station

its been so long since i played this game. i played back when it was early access. im giving another try to see what they changed, either way its a great game

great game once you got the controls down its fun nd easy to build your own spaceship i love this game! ive been playing it since 2014 and its still awesome
