You don't need to be familiar with the Inazuma Eleven franchise to play the game. The game features an original story which took me 28 hours to finish. You follow the journey of Destin Billows as he builds a new team in his new school. The characters have different personalities and are fun to be with. The cutscenes are beautifully animated by MAPPA themselves. Watching those minute long cutscenes is a treat. If you like a story about friendship and working towards becoming the best football team then this is for you.

You can freely roam the map, play minigames, and do quests from the side if you like. But the best feature here is the JRPG mechanics of the football game. The gameplay is addictive and smooth as butter. You can manage your team as much as you like and freely control them. You can also do combo skill shots which is a fun thing to do. There is tons of replayability with over 5,400 playable characters, various skills and abilities in Chronicle Mode. If you like the superpower element in a football game then this is for you.

The game is quite pricey. But it's understandable considering they took 9 years of multiple delay to launch the game at this state. The amount of time and quality they put into developing the game is enough to want to experience their work in crafting a modern Inazuma Eleven game. It has a lot of content with around 80 hours of playtime from both Story mode + Chronicle mode. So you can make it up with your playtime hours.

Money Spent Wisely

If you’ve played Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town on GBA. This will bring you nostalgia like it did to me. The art is a great improvement to the original. However, I prefer most of the bachelorette’s character art before. I married Elli (best girl) back then and gonna marry her again. They also removed rival marriage and the animals don't get sick anymore. It kinda sucks since it is no longer a challenge once you rake a huge amount of money. So I don’t recommend looking up guides & abusing the horse race unless you want to immediately bore yourself. Simply play at your own phase. There’s not much content in the game for a remake. GBA version is still better

For newcomers, it is a great entry level game for the old Harvest Moon games. Since they are basically the ones who made the original HM games despite renaming their games to Story of Seasons. Search up the issue between Marvelous/Natsume if you want to know more. I will still recommend this game although Stardew Valley does better for a modern farming sim.
