Fantastic puzzle game, l loved every second of it. Never have I found the solution of a puzzle and thought "wow, how silly."

I haven't played the DLC yet, but the main game itself was worth every penny and some. Even if I don't play puzzle games usually.

Cool game, got 3 endings out of 4 (technically I got the 4th one too but the achievement won't work for some reason). It's worth it to push to get to the "good" ending.

Everything in this game falls on the "decent-to-good" camp: characters, overall writing, plot, graphics, music, etc. The setting is cool, and the themes of religion/mythology are explored from a perspective I'm fond of. The characters are believable — if a bit stereotyped — and act consistently with their ideals/beliefs.

Solid game, recommended.

Another banger game from Mimimi studios, shame the studio closed down.

Every map is a marvel of stealth-puzzle gameplay, with a multitude of possible approaches to complete the mission. The story is serviceable, but easily skippable if you don't care about it. My main gripe is that sometimes the characters don't feel as responsive as they did in Shadow Tactics, and they take weird paths. But maybe I'm just bad at the game.

Overall I'd say it's slightly worse than Shadow Tactics, but it's still an excellent game. Definitely recommended.

Incredible stealth tactical game. If you've ever played the old Commandos or Desperados games, this one is a modern and improved rendition.

It takes lots of patience, but each move is super satisfying when it works out. And then, after struggling for hours on a level, you go on YouTube and see demons complete a level in less than 4 minutes. That's when you realize the game's depth.

Definitely recommended.

Fantastic game, though not as good as its sequel. Level 1 in this version of DND is miserable with a lot of classes, which makes the gameplay not very thrilling for the first few hours of the agme. However, it mogs BG2 in the atmosphere aspect: you really feel like a peasant caught up in something bigger than you. No, the feeling does not go away after replaying the game for the 5th time. You will still realize you're a bozo stuck in a sadistic nightmare.

My advice: get the companions writing mod.

Possibly the greatest game ever made. BioWare got everything perfect: the story, the gameplay, and the writing.

The story: the pacing is just right, and the way the events unfold flows perfectly. There's plenty of extra lore to find around the world, but you can disregard all of it if you so wish, and just go into the dungeons to smash monsters' skulls.

The gameplay: Real time with pause fits perfectly with the game's mechanics. Fights are rarely unfair (though Demi Liches cheat a wee bit). They get a little goofy come late ToB, and mages can feel too powerful at times, but everything is doable at every difficulty. Even cheesing battles is fun.

The writing: It's 99% as good as Planescape: Torment's writing. Plenty of serious dialogue and a few silly moments level up the game from excellent to masterpiece. The banter between the companions is incredible too, including that of the new companions specifically introduced for the EE by Beamdog.

I recommend to play through Shadows of Amn thrice: once with a mixed party, once with a Good party, and once with an Evil one. See what happens when people who fundamentally disagree on just about everything are forced to travel together.

Excellent game unless you're after pure action-y gameplay.
