Far Cry 5, developed by Ubisoft, delivers an exhilarating and captivating experience that stands out as a testament to the franchise's legacy. From the moment you step foot into the fictional world of Hope County, Montana, you'll be engrossed in an open-world filled with intriguing characters, explosive action, and stunning visuals.

One of the strongest aspects of Far Cry 5 is its immersive and meticulously crafted world. Ubisoft has managed to create a sprawling and visually stunning environment that feels alive and dynamic. Whether you're exploring dense forests, vast plains, or decaying towns, every corner of the map is packed with details that enhance the overall atmosphere. The attention to detail is remarkable, and it contributes greatly to the sense of immersion and believability.

The game's narrative is also a standout feature. Far Cry 5 tackles themes of religious extremism, cult mentality, and the struggle for freedom in a thought-provoking manner. The main antagonist, Joseph Seed, is a charismatic and chilling figure whose presence looms over the entire game. The supporting characters are equally compelling, each with their own motivations and stories that intertwine with the main plot. The engaging storyline keeps you invested from start to finish, driving you to uncover the mysteries of Hope County.

Gameplay-wise, Far Cry 5 offers a wealth of options that cater to different play styles. Whether you prefer stealthy approaches or all-out chaos, the game provides you with an array of tools and weapons to suit your preference. The gunplay feels satisfying, with a wide variety of firearms at your disposal, each with their own unique characteristics. Additionally, the inclusion of vehicles, aerial combat, and animal companions adds a refreshing layer of diversity to the gameplay, ensuring that no two encounters feel the same.

Furthermore, the game's cooperative multiplayer mode adds an extra dimension of enjoyment. Team up with friends to liberate outposts, tackle missions, or simply explore the vast world together. The seamless transition between single-player and multiplayer allows for a seamless and enjoyable cooperative experience, enhancing the game's replayability.

Visually, Far Cry 5 is a treat for the eyes. The meticulously designed landscapes, realistic character models, and stunning lighting effects come together to create a visually striking experience. Whether you're admiring a picturesque sunset or engaging in explosive firefights, the graphics contribute to an immersive and visually captivating adventure.

In conclusion, Far Cry 5 is a remarkable addition to the acclaimed franchise, delivering a thrilling and immersive experience that will keep you hooked for hours on end. With its stunning visuals, engaging storyline, diverse gameplay options, and cooperative multiplayer mode, it's a game that offers something for everyone. If you're a fan of open-world action games or looking for an unforgettable adventure, Far Cry 5 is an absolute must-play. Prepare to be captivated by the captivating world of Hope County.

(Summary at bottom)
NOT a reskinned FS19. I have about 650 hours on FS19 and I can most certainly say this is much better in many ways, and many things have been completely overhauled.

- Sounds have had a major overhaul, makes the game feel more realistic and immersive.
- More placeables than ever, including sheds with working doors, refuel stations (diesel, methane, and electric), seed & fert tanks, etc. Fences too, great addon, easy to use.
- Many many new brands, and more tire brand options. Also license plates for equipment and vehicles.
- Character customization. Graphics wise, it looks a rather bit weird, but I'm sure it'll be improved. Unfortunately you have to change the character per-savegame, not any sort of preset in the main menu.
- Better organized XML files. Much more easier on the eyes compared to FS17, and easier to find things such as the money value. I don't need to use ctrl+f anymore, I can just scroll. (Speaking of XML editing, instead of editing the careerSavegame.xml file like FS17 & FS19 to add cash, here you need to edit farms.xml file instead in the same folder, careerSavegame.xml is only for appearance in the main menu.)
- Better organized shop UI, not to mention the UI overall. Imo, the weird blue fade on the speedometer/tachometer reminds me of the ol' FS13 UI, kinda wish it was more clean and simplistic as the FS19 UI, but hey, it is what it is.
- American-based map. Major improvement from Ravenport and Goldcrest Valley, feels more of the true american countryside thanks to that new office here in the U.S. that Giants got a while ago.
- Buying used equipment. As of now it seems limited to 4 pieces of equipment at a time, but very neat feature regardless.
- Vehicle gearbox. Not required if you don't want to use it, but I like it. A wee bit confusing at times however, I'm used to the way you shift in American Truck Simulator, but this is different. Not bad, maybe needs to be tweaked a bit.
- Obviously graphics, you won't really notice a huge jump between FS19 and FS22 as the major jump of the franchise was between FS17 and FS19, but there is some noticeable changes.
- Seasons. I don't like playing so realistic to the point I have to wait time for the proper planting and harvesting time, but there's an option to make it so the seasons are just visual only. You can also make it so it's one season at all times.

Now, there are of course many bugs with the game, and some features missing since it just got released today, but I'm pretty sure Giants will get most of them sorted out before the next year.

Some rather aggravating bugs/missing features are:
- Inability to remove buildings and fences on farms that already exist on the map. I have only tested this on Elmcreek so far, however, but it is most likely this applies to all other maps.
- Landscaping, a wee bit glitchy, controls are difficult to get used to from FS19. Can't sprint in landscaping mode.
- AI workers. We all know from previous FS games that the AI is notorious, especially in FS17. Here, there have been some improvements, and with the addition of AI being able to drive vehicles to and fro, that's really useful, but again, very buggy. The classic 'Helper F is blocked by an object!' pops up every now and then, you tab over and there's like nothing in it's way.
- With some vehicles, most notably (and only tested on so far,) is the Mack Anthem. It's not a true 6x4, more of a 6x2. I was hauling the largest CLAAS wheel loader & the 4755 with rear duals on the non-Lodeking flatbed up a hill, it almost seemed as if the rear axle of the Anthem was going backwards, whereas the front rear axle was slipping. Fine, maybe it doesn't have a lockable transfer case of diffs, but it should go up that hill with the most powerful engine in it, plus the weight on the rear axles from the fifth wheel.
- Buildings, most notably the farmhouse. If you look into the windows, it's just a copied .jpeg of a weird looking kitchen with yellow cabinets and a granite looking wall. I'm sure Giants will add in an interior at some point, I don't want buildings to start to function like the ones back in FS13. Also , you cannot interact/enter any existing buildings/sheds/barns on the farms on the land you purchase. I sure hope that gets fixed.

Bugs TL;DR:
- Existing Building Removal (Cannot remove them, this includes existing fences.)
- Existing Building Functionality (Cannot enter buildings and cannot open shed/barn doors)
- Landscaping (Buggy, a minor visual glitch, & controls are awkward)
- AI Driving/Transport (Blocked by basically nothing or drives the wrong path)

TL;DR:

There are many bugs, I hope they'll be fixed before the next year. But there are also many improvements from previous FS games, as someone who's played FS13 (Xbox 360), 17 (Steam), and 19 (Epic Games).

At this time, with the amount of bugs/missing features in the game, I would just wait and get it on sale in the future.
If you're someone who already purchased it, don't bother refunding it, just wait for the bugs to be worked out.

I have not tested everything, and I have not played every map. I do not have all of the bugs and missing features listed, I will update this review as I come across more notable bugs, missing features, and good changes from previous FS games.

Again, this is a newly released game, so unless Giants decides to not fix these issues/keep them removed like EA did with Battlefield 2042, then I will change this review as needed.

(literally a few hours after I made this review) Update:

Graphics did a ♥♥♥♥♥ wucky and it's a bit laggy when going first-person pov, in fact while the graphics did said ♥♥♥♥♥ wucky I went into first person and the game crashed. Also note this happened while hosting a multiplayer game.

game dosen't support corsair k55 and that annoying af

I wanted to write this review to give players some tips and things to consider when opening this Pandora's box of a simulation game.

Starters:
- It's probably recommended you run this away from STEAM, sorry STEAM this game is too complex. Go to DCS World Website to download.
- The DCS World Website has 1000's of community Mods for instance a civilian Aircraft mod that lets you assign AI to the Aircraft (Boeing 747 Qantas Skin), templates and real world positions of army forces (USA, Syria, Russia), Other Skins, entire flyable aircraft mods (F-22 Raptor) etc.
- Download Install and play the "DCS World OpenBeta" version. You get updates faster than those on 'DCS Standalone' the default download.
- HOTAS and VR is next level immersion, but for starters honestly get a Xbox USB Dongle and just use an Xbox controller for play if you on a budget.
- Best way to learn Aircraft is Youtube and Alt Tab between DCS and Browser.
- Most likely (Like me) you'll start on the Hornet and end up months or years later on the free SU-25 Frogfoot or something like the Viggen. Not knocking the Hornet its an absolute beast but for a new player it can be overwhelming in complexity.

Pros:
- Extremely extremely detailed, the words Digital Combat Simulator are a giveaway. It's a war Simulator. Mostly know for its Jets but can technically show any type of Multi Armed conflict Air land and Sea. Artillery firing, Simulate basically any war action in the past 100 years with an obvious emphasis on Air, Vehicles, Helis, Navy. Infantry still there but fairly basic.
- Amazing online community
- Scale. Want to feel like you are really at 30,000 feet, Want to know how far you can deliver weapons onto a target, how far you can be from an Anti air system before its get a 'good' shot on you.. this is the game. Scale is incredible.

Cons:
- It's expensive once you get into/hooked onto this game but IMO worth every cent.
- The learning curve is huge. Real world jets are complicated beasts.
- The in game learning tutorials are garbage. best to learn on youtube.

Early Access Review
No wonder CS is 20+ years old. This game is so addictive. I was never really into gaming but this game changed my opinion. This is one of the most accurate FPS games ever made with 128 tick servers. This game requires passion, dedication, hardwork, skill & a lot of practice because every pixel counts when you trigger you gun. Rumours say CS:GO is going to shift on Source 2 Engine within 2 weeks, really excited for it.

When you will play on low tier like Silver & Gold Nova you may lose many games because of your teammates. They may do basic mistakes like Run & Gun, Team Flash etc. But never rage on them. Always remember we used to do the same basic mistakes when we were beginners. I know this game involves lot of emotion but keep your calm & make sure to teach the beginners. Our community is already toxic, lets not make it more.

You win or you learn, you never lose.

CS will never die.

Edit: Source 2 is still not out. You can play on 128 tick rate servers on third party clients like FaceIt, ESEA, 5E Play etc.

As someone who came from FSX, I expected this to be so much better considering there is literal DECADES of technological improvements. Oh how wrong I was.

Let's start at the installation process of MSFS, that alone has driven many consumers to refund. There are so many issues, one of them being that the actual download goes through Microsofts slow and congested servers so your download speed may be lighting fast or criminally slow. Even then, if you get a fast download, you then run the issue of the download breaking and redownloading the same file over and over till you restart the sim. The game is about 110 GB, can download that on steam in little over an hour. I spent 30 hours downloading.

Once you get into the game you have to toy with the graphics settings because the game does look good (honestly its only positive) and can strain your system. I run on a GTX 1660 Super and a Ryzen 7 3700X with 16 GB of RAM, the game is at the high preset and runs 50 FPS normally and in a big city or airport it can get as low as 20.

After that, you want to fly, the planes range from standard piston aircraft like a Cessna 152, all the way up to a Boeing 747-8 along with a Airbus A320neo. For VFR flying, the game is great! The graphics look absolutely fantastic along with real weather and time, the game looks absolutely stunning. And for IFR flying, like I said, two airliners, the Airbus A320neo and the Boeing 747-8, but IFR is where this game gets this negative review.

So to keep it short, I fly the A320neo for almost every flight and if it's out of range I switch on infinite fuel, I don't have to much practice with the autopilot of the 747-8 so I primarily fly the A320. From experience, there's nothing wrong with the plane itself, more so with the horrendous ATC, yes, somehow, with decades of improvement, Microsoft has managed to make the already shoddy ATC from FSX WORSE. Not just voice lines (Google Translate sounds better) but the way the ATC works.

So one change from FSX is the ATC doesn't give you vectors it's more you, perfectly fine, took a little to get used to but after 2 flights I was fine. The biggest and most annoying issue, is the ATC giving descend instructions. Every flight I've done recently (recently being 5 months) has the exact same issue, the ATC gives you descend instructions way to late.

For example, I just did a flight from Pittsburgh to NYC, everything was normal until I got told to descend, I descended from 35,000 feet to 14,000 feet, alright. Then at about 15,000 feet I was given ILS approach, alright not the worst I'm still a little ways out, then the game told me to descend from 14,000 feet to 2,900 feet. I thought that was absurd so I switched to external camera and saw JFK right underneath me. Seriously? I'm still at 11,000 feet MS. The Nav Log was fine before starting so the flight plan was how it should've been, the issue was ATC.

Now compared to FSX that isn't to bad since you can see your distance from the airport and make a calculation based off that but with MSFS, you can't. You just gotta guess and descend when you think you should while also cancelling IFR. Realism 0. It;s not even a "oh you might get it" it's every single flight. And the worst part, Microsoft is caring more about making the game look better rather than function better and are catering more towards VFR flying which wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't completely destroying IFR 8 months after release.

Wonderful, simply wonderful game adventure game! Definitely a masterpiece which would stay in my heart forever. It has a few (minor) problems and unfortunately is not completely playable to modern gamers, but I'll try to review it as objectively as I can!

Plot: without a doubt the strongest point of the game! The Longest Journey tells you about April Ryan, a teenager which got entwined in the complex story of Stark - the world of science and logic, the one we know, Arcadia - the world of magic and wonders which exists in parallel to ours, and The Balance - which is in between the two worlds. The balance between the two worlds gets corrupted, putting in danger both worlds. The story goes far beyond that, with some twists and turns, and is also quiet deep. A little complex at times, yet that's what makes it so interesting!

Settings: The game takes place in the far future (23rd century if I'm not mistaken). It therefore has sort of sci-fi settings, with a futuristic version of our world on one side and the magical world of Arcadia on the other. The characters have depth and some are even memorable. The futuristic version of our world is rather believable, and the world of Arcadia is very well-crafted and actually lets you explore a whole new world, including its folklore, tales, histories and different nationsspecies. The game's setting is very well thought and detailed, which adds a lot to the main story and make the game even more interesting! Add the amazing writing and the outstanding acting and you got yourself a Masterpiece.

Gameplay: The Longest Journey has the classic point and click interface. You collect items, combine and use them in order to solve puzzle, and keep exploring and examining your surroundings, talking to the people around you... The puzzles are pretty original and interesting, not too ordinary and yet I found most of them quiet logical. I (almost) never found myself thinking "damn, I would have never figured it out myself!" (except for that rubber ducky puzzle in the biginning!)
One little thing that annoyed me though, there wasn't always balance between puzzles and dialogues, where I think there should have been. You can, at times, find yourself talking with people, more and more, without messing with the inventory at all, while at other times there's almost no dialogue and many puzzles to solve.

Graphics: The graphics are generally beautiful, the game uses 3d models which move over 2d backgrounds, and while the models are usually ugly the backgrounds are amazingly beautiful and nice to watch and observe. Even by simply checking the game's artworks you can see there was much though put in that. Still, the graphics are limited and the game runs in a pretty low resolution (like many games from the nineties)

Sounds and music:TLJ features a beautiful, magical soundtrack. Still, unfortunately, I felt the game lacks music. The game's soundtrack lasts for about a hour, and was used in the game only occasionally for short bits. I really like music in video games, and therefore was sometimes disappointed with this aspect. It's nothing critical though, because there are great sound effects and background noises which always correspond greatly to your surroundings, the the sounds&soundtrack are still done pretty well.

Compatibility: This game is rather old, and I still managed to run it on 3 different computers, which were all modern compared to this game, with almost no problems at all. So you're still able to play it on modern machines even nowadays without much effort.

Test of Time: Unfortunately, the game is not as approachable as it was on its release. Many modern gamers would stay away from it, as it greatly centers on dialogues and story. There's a lot of content which isn't even relevant to finishing the game. TLJ requires a lot of your time, attention and patience, and even I couldn't always stand it while playing it last week. It was different when I first played it, many years ago, but nowadays players don't have so much patience as before. Modern gamers are ususally looking for things they won't find in this game. Add the dated graphics which by today's standards are terrible, and you get a game which is unfortunately fully appreciated mainly by those who played it back when it was fresh and new, even though storywise it's a great classic!

In short, this game is almost perfect, but is unfortunately not for the impatience or seekers of quick-paced adventures, as this one takes its time. If you only let it, it would tell you one of the most wonderful tales told in the video-gaming world in the last two decades.

Flight simulator is a great game, with tremendous potential. HOWEVER, I do feel like the game was presented as an expansive simulator game... and in reality it is pretty confined.

You order, package, and distribute various different drugs in various different increments to various different clients. Don't get me wrong! I'm very satisfied JUST doing that all day long, and they did an unbelievable job with it, but I was expecting a little more. For instance, I was under the impression there would be weapons and combat in some way shape or form... there has been absolutely none. Also, I was expecting some GTA level territory expansion, with spray paint and again, some action. I don't believe that is ever going to be a part of this game, unfortunately. Furthermore, I found the spray painting in this game to be a bit trivial. You can just make sales and increase your reputation 10 times more than if you spray painted an entire region. Actually, the reputation and the territories are a bit trivial as well. Unlocking the new territories just means you now have to maintain your reputation in that area... but you don't really get anything for having a high reputation. I don't believe you get anything for unlocking territories other than more clients.

The cannabis growing aspect of the game is amazing! I love it. However, you will quickly realize that you can grow vastly more weed than you will be able to sell in a reasonable amount of time. It would be more interesting if one of the potential gangs you can join was entirely weed oriented and ordered large amounts on a regular basis.

On that note, I'm finding the "gang" feature of this game to be a bit lackluster. Essentially, it is just one client ordering progressively larger amount of drugs, depending on the "gang" you are able to join. I joined the cocaine gang and have been delivering insane amounts of cocaine to this guy for HOURS. I just dropped off 34 50g packages of cocaine... there doesn't seem to be any reason to keep going at this point. They should work on a better reward system or something. The money is useless after the first few rounds, you can buy anything and everything with like $60,000-$70,000.

The cops are fun. They will give you a good chase and do an excellent job reminding you that you are doing something illegal!>.< It would be fun if you could just bribe the cops to let you pass instead of having to go through the construction worker tunnel.

Again, superb game overall. There is so much they could add to this game to make it even more enjoyable. It would be cool if you could fix up the slums and use your drug money to do something constructive! Well worth the purchase, just don't come in with unreasonable expectations!:P
