This game needs a LOT of work, especially with their servers.
For Context, I have Fibre, high speeds. Yet during multiplayer there is rubber-banding, damage delays, and AI not moving to your actual position, as well as constant disconnection from servers.
This game blew up, and it deserves it's praise though, it just means they need to improve the servers ASAP; it needs to be done yesterday.
Despite the internet issues though... This is far better than any copy/paste pokemon junk nintendo has put out in YEARS! I've never been more happy to commit homicide, enslave my fellow humans to work in a homemade sweatshop, and make PETA cry by making an elephant live off of a loaf of bread. This is the greatest slavery simulator I've ever played, it's pokemon done right!
The founding fathers intended you to use muskets for home defense, and now you can aim them at people, yell "TALLY HO LADS!" and embrace the hilarity that is ragdoll. The gameplay cycle is so solid, that I hired The Rock Johnson, just to tell you it goes harder than his namesake and the rocks you swing your sticks at... then he defenestrated me and told me not to waste his time. Now as I lie outside the window I was thrown from, I still love this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

It's a good game, but like any MMO, it's also a large time sink to be able to advance and keep up to date on everything.
I think the best part about this though, is that you can get almost everything (except for specific Cosmetics) for free without paywalls, since you can simply trade items with other players to get the premium currency and use it to buy whatever you want. It also subverts common paywalling free games by having a FREE battlepass, no paid tracks, no loot boxes, none of that nonsense.
This makes it feel like people spend money on the game, not because they have a metaphorical knife to their throats, but because they actually enjoy the stuff the devs put out.

This isn't a Remake or Remaster of the base game. It still looks very dated in fact, looking like it's from the PS2 Era. On top of that, there is no good tutorial to explain the stamina system, the only thing you get is a couple bits that aren't relevant to the time you learn them. "You can change someone's element" but at that point in the game, you don't get said spells yet. "Change the field all to one color to summon" yet you don't get any summons by then.
So ONLY get this game if your a Chono-Series fan and you have yet to play Chrono Cross. Otherwise, this is NOT a remaster of the game and will disappoint you. If you really want to save some money, you'd be better off just pirating the original game rather than this as it's not worth the 20 bucks, go spend your money on something better until this hopefully gets fixed.
