I have many hours in this game, all are pre Limansk and pre Battle Pass stuff. I came after one year to review the game and will explain how it went.

I had the most fun playing in Swamp, Cordon, Dump, Valley and Agro. Bar was kinda fun too but pickle farming was a pain yet it was fun. Back then premium had its advantages but a free playing player was able to race with paying players. What made me, my mates, all the people in my friends list and many other people leave the game was exhausting GRIND.

But even grinding can be fun sometimes, if it is balanced.

When i first logged in to the game today many different events, stuff, offers, chests, packages welcomed me; basically game just seemed like an old school player robbing mmorpg.

It is so colourful, there are many items you do not know what they do, you see glowy weapons and armour on everyone so basically game tries to make you BUY stuff. I thought to myself, i am a veteran and i kicked many asses back in my day so my exo and rpd should be more than enough but i could not be more wrong.

There are many weapons and armours that does not make any sense to me, all the people in bar have glowy weapons that hits much more than their standard counterparts and awkward armours giving crazy resistances.

I had high hopes that they would not turn this game into an another p2win mmorpg with a lot of menus, events, offers popping from everywhere and basically forcing you to buy because the guy who just killed you have an icy ak that hits for 38. I really thought that they would protect the balance and keep this game as an immersive Stalker like open world rpg.

Get a helmet if this review seems harsh to you but you would feel the same emotions if a game you played for 200 hours and had high hopes of welcomed you after 1 year with like this, another great game with high potential that fell victim to the mmorpg scheme.

I was completely okay with one time payment and IMMERSIVELY cosmetic season pass and grinding

This game is not for people who want Stalker vibes and immersion anymore
This game is not for people who want to have fun without paying a dime
This game is not for newcomers
This game is not for people who want to have harsh environment of Zone, there is no challange anymore.
There is just the question of ''To pay or not to pay''
