This game may have it's flaws, but it's hilarious.

Just lousy, I can't even put into words how disappointed I am with this Add-On. This had so much potential but that's just not the case.

Don't waste your money on this.

Well here we go...

I've given this route a second chance. I re-bought it after I refunded it out of sheer anger and disappointment. Granted, it's not perfect however I'm glad I bit the bullet and re-bought it.

The biggest thing I've noticed from reinstalling it and running it a few times is that it gets less laggy as the computer realises I'm re running the scenario/ route. I've been using the Class 800 as my test bed as the Avanti Pendo is just crap, the sounds are too loud and just need a general overhaul.

Extra things I've noticed that running the route (in Free mode) Euston to New Street is randomly a two intervals I was getting AWS warnings before green lights? (I haven't encountered that problem doing it in reverse thankfully) That's not normal in a real world situation. Some terrain clippings on entering tunnels, a bit daunting but easily fixable. FPS isn't great but it's playable. For reference I'm using a i7 7700, 1070FE with 32GB RAM

Now, the price.. Good lord.. £25? Yeah alright the dev's have gotta make money but for what it is; not really worth it. I'd happy pay around the £10 mark.

Some side notes:
- The Avanti livery is just gorgeous
- Route is incredibly well detailed even with the apparent copypasta bridges (sigh..)
- Nice to see plenty of rail traffic in free mode where as it can be lacklustered in other routes

Overall I'd give this a 7/10

Even though this game is 10 years old its very enjoyable and addicting, I know for a fact i'll be putting in a few hundred hours into 1404 and other parts of the Anno franchise when I get round to buying them. Like I said even though the game is 10 years old the graphics are basic but very pretty and runs very nice on a 144hz monitor which makes the gameplay very jaw dropping if you're a city builder/strategy game addict like myself. Definatly a thumbs up for 1404 and a win of a purchase in the 2019 summer sale!

Early Access Review
I don't usually say this to a game.. but I highly recomend THIS game. You can spend hours upon hours playing around in just one session. I myself havent played over and hours worth of gameplay as of yet but I've been in Twitch streams where its just gone on forever. The game is still in development whih I like a lot; also bareing in mind of the price of the game which is less than £5. GWYF is 1000% worth it
