without hyperbole, 99% of the gameplay is the act of traveling from point A to point B.

there are only about 30 different kinds of missions, copy-pasted across hundreds of star systems. just getting to endgame content requires several months of mindless grinding these infinitely recycled missions, or going around scanning planets for data to turn in for credits. there are only five (5) types of planets you can land on, merely copy-and-pasted literally hundreds of thousands of times.

all community driven content is designed around hundreds, if not thousands of people participating, so your individual participation in anything always feels entirely meaningless, doubly more so because you won't meet another player for days at a time.

it is the single loneliest game i have ever played. on an impulse, i deleted my save file with billions in assets and now i write this with a deep sense of relief knowing i'll never play this game again.
