Good game, better dev, even better modding scene
Pick this up and surrender your money already

In my time playing this game, here is a list of problems that prevent me from playing the game as intended by the devs: The build menu will occasionally glitch out, preventing me from being able to build sandbags and boxes for a few minutes before it fixes itself.
That's it, that's the review.
This is an early access game that punches way above its weight, runs exponentially more smoothly than AAA games nowadays, and its gunplay is satisfying to try and master. (Emphasis on try, I suck at video games)
Perhaps the only other problem I've had trying to play this is that it's so damn good that the devs are running out of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers to host games on. Give this a go, you'll thank me and other positive reviewers later.

I think Deep Rock Galactic has set the standard so high for co-op shooters that any other option out there is just permanently ruined for me.
A fun community, solid gameplay, really consumer friendly cosmetic loot system, and a great modding scene!
When reviews for other games call back to DRG for advice on how to improve their own systems, you know Ghost Ship is doing a few things right.

EAC was never as solution for big budget games that currently use it. VRC will be no different.
The fact of the matter is, VRC is incredulously slow with rolling features out, and their own game is extremely restrictive with features that modders were forced to add in themselves, considering how terribly the team has been at communicating with...well everyone.
What will happen after this is unknown, but know this. This is a "We are tired of our community one-upping us" update. Nothing more.

Edit: I also just want to say, I've been a VRC+ member for around a year now. The only thing I've ever even *noticed* about being a member is that my favorites aren't restricted to 25 avatars/worlds/friends. The vanilla game puts a hard limit on how many favorites you can have until you fork over 10$ a month. This can be ignored with *A* mod that doesn't do anything, except give you a wide variety of features that the vanilla game has not had since its release. The team has been saying that these features are coming "Soon™"

So a note for context, I have autism and can get overstimulated very easily, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's a bad thing, it just means my brain is just on fire with stimulation, which can be fun in the right circumstances

I literally just bought this game, cuz I watched 4shar's videos on it. I started getting the hang of it in the first level, and in the second i was having a grand old time. Then I started parrying, and WOAH does the game make that feel satisfying
In the fourth(?) level after you get the shotgun, I started doing projectile boosts, and subsequently tried getting the biggest group together so i could blow them all up
I succeeded, and was having so much fun that I literally yelped with excitement and then immediately had to take a break
10/10, please buy

changes need to be reverted. Glad I didn't pay for the DLC but holy wow everything being tied to FPS makes my eyes roll into the back of my skull. The new codebase being not modder friendly also needs to be reverted, this is unacceptable.

Fun base game, opens up more with some quality of life mods.
Really appreciate the support for modding from the developers :)

It's classic halo. You'll either love it or hate it, but I love it.

Simple rootin' tootin' aimin' and shootin'

Pretty fun game! Has a bit of a learning curve, but it's a good experience.
However, this game has a lootbox system, but you thankfully don't have to rely on getting all your gear from lootboxes, because once you get a piece, you can build more at the cost of "Robits"
