Flipping off the cops at the beginning of the game makes them aggro on you. 10/10

Here's my take on this:
The amount of passion, love, and talent that has gone into all of the assets showcased is truly admirable. The only gripe I have with them is that the weapons have been reanimated and the sounds have been changed. As a result, the feel of the weapons just isn't faithful to the original game. There's too much AAA "juice" put into the animations. The original game's weapon animations just feel right to me. If there was an option to keep the original weapon animations and sounds while still having the touched-up models, that would be a very welcome option.

And now, the performance:
It does not run at a playable framerate on hardware that more than meets the requirements specified on the main Steam store page. The only way to get this to perform at around ~30 FPS is to enable the AI upscaling and frame generation provided by DLSS, which makes the game look really blurry. Moving the camera around with DLSS enabled makes everything unbelievably blurry to the point where I feel sick to my stomach. I'd say that the motion sickness I get is on the same level as those who feel their stomach twist in knots when someone suggests that they give VR another try.

NVIDIA shouldn't have released the RTX lineup of cards until ray-tracing at standard playable framerates and resolutions was possible without the need for any garbage blurry AI upscaling and frame generation.

Don't even run the game. Go into the game's files. Open the PDF. Read pages 122-125 (the first "Chapter 4"). Question why anyone would write this. Uninstall.

If you're familiar with the limitations and clunkiness of the Windows API and how ancient the roots of the Desktop Window Manager (DWM) on NT-based versions of Windows is, this game is an absolute technological marvel.
