I received this game as a birthday gitf. My friends and I have agreed not to buy multiplayer/party games as a group, since our schedules rarely allow us to actually play something together. So, I left Potion Party on my wishlist, afraid to waste money on yet another game I wouldn't get to play with anyone. I was actually quite happy to receive it, tho, and more so when I realized I could use the remote play together to invite others to play with me. I didn't felt like it was setting my PC on fire while playing with friends, so I'd say it's quite fun. It's challenging, but just enough not to cause frustration or annoyance when someone makes a mistake. You can also play it alone just fine, and some strategies work better when you're by yourself or as part of a duo instead of a quartet. It's a great game and I'm very happy with it. <3

Early Access Review
The game is unplayable. I haven't been able to play it for months, because it takes SO LONG just to start it I'll be staring at a black screen for a couple of hours before the application loads. If I dare to do as much as click with my mouse, It will crash and I will be forced to restart my PC, because now it's completely frozen. If I'm able to wait patiently and get to the actual game, chances are I'll be disconected in a couple of minutes. It's impossible to do anything else on my desktop if Temtem is open, because it'll lag the hell out of everything else. I can't even join a call on discord.

The worst part is that, upon release, the game was great. Yeah, the servers where crowded and I would get disconected a lot, but I was able to have 15 hours of fun with a borrowed copy before buying the game for myself. Then they updated it and now I'm stuck with a product that doesn't work and, because of Steam policies, I can't even get a refund. It's probably the worst money I ever spent on videogames. And I used to buy coins for Habbo Hotel.

Anyway, I wouldn't recommend Temtem to anyone I know. Much less now that's even more expensive than it used to be. Just save your money and go play some Pokemon, idk.
