This game is the Skyrim of casual action arcade games- an instant classic reminiscent of the days when video games were good.

I spent too much of my time trying to get the game to launch, but it just doesn't work. Very disappointing.

You could say I've played this game for a while.
My Steam playtime only begins to give you an idea of how much time I've spent with this game.

Here's my speedrun, which is the world record as of May 2020

Classic gameguru asset-flip garbage. It runs horribly, and it crashed about 3 or 4 times before I was finally able to get into the actual game. There are dialogue options that I can't select from, so I'm not able to make it very far on account of not being able to talk to the classic game character, Timba. This is presumably because I seem to need a keypad on my keyboard to choose an option, but my keyboard is tenkeyless. At least, that's what the "about" page on the menu seems to suggest. Whatever text is on that page is in Russian. I played this game for almost 20 minutes, and I think I saw everything I was able to see without a keypad. Here's a video of my experience.

I wanted it to be good. It really isn't.
Enemies are bullet sponges.
Moments that should feel big or important are not.
The first few levels are made symmetrical so that both players can go down separate sides instead of working together.
The few bosses I encountered were uninteresting.
The dialogue is really bad.
The RPG elements that they've included would be really fun if the actual shooting felt somewhat satisfying to begin with, but the enemy sponginess keeps that from happening.
Enemies seem to spawn out of nowhere.
I loved the first two games in this series. This is not like those. The Nazis in those were fun to kill. These Nazis take too much to put down.

I got this game for $1.24 during the Summer Sale. To me, it is worth that price. I have only played it for an hour, but I wanted to get a review up before the sale ends just in case anyone comes across the game's store page like I did. This game is unique. The visual aesthetic is interesting and overall pretty good, even if the graphical quality of the game isn't exactly fantastic. The first few runs in this game were frustrating. As I pushed forward, I began to understand it a bit better and found myself enjoying it more than I think I should have. This game doesn't seem huge, nor does it have a fantastic story. It's a strange game with pretty solid gameplay. Most complaints I might have are about how cryptic the game is, as it gives very little direction. This appears intentional, and it makes things feel even more rewarding when I figure it out. It does seem to say just a tiny bit too little at times. It's a shame that it seems not many people have even heard of this game, because I am glad that I did.

I think I bought this not long after it was published. I launch it every once in a while when I'm not really sure what to play. It's not a great game. It's not really a bad game either. You can tell that someone cared about making it. It almost reminds me of a time when Steam was different. If you're looking at this during the summer sale while it's 49 cents, there are way worse games to buy for that amount.

This is a delightful little game. My first run through only took me about 20 minutes, and this unlocked one of the endings. Its storytelling style, as well as the story told in the game, is interesting and strange. Its strangeness does not detract the quality of the story or the game, though. It has multiple simple puzzles that aren't too difficult to figure out. Its dark comedy and horror work together quite well, and I would definitely recommend it, especially considering it is only $4. You can see more gameplay of this game in my video here, if you're interested:
