Maybe a little on the dark side, but fun for something different.

The controls are awkward. Hit boxes are off and too small. The only settings option it offers is for video quality and even then it's only low or high. Settings can only be accessed on the selection screen and not in game.

Unfortunately this was a good story/game ruined by garbage controls, garbage movement (or lack thereof), garbage camera angles, and garbage mechanics. Whether I used mouse and keyboard or a controller the movements were rigid and clunky and not very smooth and fluid. During moments in the game where you had to flee, the camera would change angle causing the controls to mess up getting you killed. And speaking of getting killed, it felt like the game purposely set you up to die at times. A cut scene would start and sometimes as part of those cut scenes your character would begin to flee. It would then end while your character was fleeing with no clear indication that it was ending and expecting you to automatically pick up where it left off and to continue to flee. It was an extremely frustrating mechanic to adapt to. It was like the devs couldn't decide if they wanted to develop a story driven, puzzle solving, point and click psychological thriller/horror or an action game at times. If I had known this about the game prior to purchasing it, I never would have purchased it.

Excellent survival game with an excellent story line and game play so far.
