Definately lots of fun playing with friends. Ditch discord and other external comms and be sure to only use the ingame communication tools. Navigate through abandoned industrial facilities and scavenge as much crap as you can find. Fun times with y-- TURRET! [LIFE SUPPORT: OFFLINE]

Lots of fun with friend playing co-op!

Looks great most of the time but definitely still has that early access "smell".

I played this game from day 1 (2016 ?>) and played it through every season and iteration. It has its ups and downs like most serviced titles but it still is a polished and solid game. I pretty much enjoy the general PvP gameplay and the little push it gives towards rewarding actual team play. Hero and map design is top tier.

I think people are (rightfully) angry because they over promised and didn't deliver OW2 in the PvE department and in effect killed OW1. But i think this anger should be directed towards Blizzard management and not the game itself.

Yes i do miss the 6v6 but 5v5 is fine as well. Combined with the new game modes that also feel fresh.
I only play PvP. The PvE is a nice extra but totally not what they promised and imho not worth the price right now.

Cash grab? Maybe for the skins (like every other free to play game).
But you really don't need to spend money to enjoy the game or be competitive.

TLDR: You can still enjoy the core game (PvP) without spending money on it :)
Angry fanboys should just stop playing the game.

This game brings me right back to the fun times i had playing RTCW and ET. It's a wonderful fast paced FPS with great gameplay where teamplay is the key to victory. The different loadout cards ( a combination of a gun and augments) can give you a slight edge in combat by enhancing your playstyle.

I also want to point out that the F2P model is fair and there is definately NO pay to win component.
Both loadout cards and mercs can be earned by either playing a lot (earning credits) or buying them with real money. I would recommend buying the starter pack once you are hooked ;)
