Let It Die is a high-risk high-reward, hack and slash, set in the post-apocalypse. As a fighter, your objective is to struggle and contend floor by floor up the tower of barbs obtaining various types of weapons and armour in a quest to reach the top of the tower. For every 10 floors there is a Don that represents each 4 factions within the tower that all have their own unique gear.

The game has involved a consistent and smooth frame rate even on ultra settings, no graphical or technical problems and the experience has been satisfying. Microtransactions aren't necessary to revive your character because you can just recover your character back with in-game money for a reasonable price. The premium currency (Death Metal) so far has only seen a few uses and that was for increased storage. You can also obtain the premium currency with methods other than just buying them with real money such as completing challenges, taking part in TDM (Tokyo Death Metro), and sometimes you are rewarded them as a daily reward so you aren't restricted to methods of obtaining them.

After "completing" the game or defeating the fourth and final Don of the tower, the game becomes extremely grindy. You unlock the Battle To The Top feature, adding an "endless" amount of floors containing exceedingly high level enemies with some of the strongest gear that exists in the game. However the rarest and strongest crafting materials are also contained there necessary to max out your gear.

The game is free so there's nothing to lose if you play it. I also highly recommend you play this game using a controller (This game originally released on the PS4).
