Simply Fun! Worth every penny and then some.

Edit: The devs are pretty good, but SONY needs to keep their grimy hands off. ♥♥♥♥ off with your psn account linking it serves the players in no positive way and if anything puts their account info at risk. I will change my review back to positive once SONY backs off.

Its pretty average, nothing stands out to me in style or art (ingame). I found it really boring, but I can see it being a really fun game for the younger crowd.

Its interesting and could go somewhere, but not worth atm. Its EA if you have money to let sit while its developed and play every once in awhile go for it.

It’s no game of the year, but for 25$ it’s a lot of fun. I keep hearing this is dark souls with guns. I can see where people are coming from, but I wouldn’t make that description. There are definitely some similarities, but the main aspects that make dark souls so fun for me are not there. I just didn’t have the anticipation or drive to see what’s next around the corner. Finding chests/loot is pretty bland and boring every chest drops materials so you know what you’re getting every time. The only interesting thing are the craftable guns you get from materials that drop from different bosses. I’ve only found a couple weapons randomly placed. Each world is interesting but the locations so far or pretty much repeats of the style of the world. New locations pretty much look exactly like the last. I would compare it more to maybe borderlands? (Might be a really bad comparison but it’s what first popped in my head.) With some basics of dark souls.

I have a feeling my opinion might change as I play so I’ll be sure to change when it does since this game is meant to play through each world multiple times.

Worth every penny for me. I am sure this game is not for everyone, but there is a lot of fun to be had if this game is your thing. I love this game.

Pros - Tons to do
Id guess just the main story will take most on average 25-30+ hours (Finished my main at 32 and I focused primarily on the main story which I regret. Take your time, but if You want to knock out the main story go for it. NG+ will come more easily to you if you go down that route with little investment your first time.

Cons - Loading screens... Lots of loading screens.
Performance is not the best in certain areas and overall I would expect lower end/mid systems will struggle at times.
NG+ is wack all of my friends including myself decided to just not do it till a better NG+ mod comes out.
Absolutely no coop, negative for some, others not so much.

Was Meh. Played the demo, then got the game and not much really changed. The whole game feels like a demo and repetitive which takes away from the scare factor when your doing the same thing over and over again in the same small map. I understand this is early access so take this review with that in mind. If you want to see this game become more and you have the patience then go for it. For me personally though, its not worth it right now.

Its fun, but I'm not sure its worth 60$. I did not finish the game since I am pretty bored of it already. I am playing on the hardest difficulty and it is just way to easy, and to think I could dive into upgrading all my gear is crazy. Going to take a break from this one for awhile and come back later to finish. Might feel refreshed then.

For now I would suggest not buying till its been out for a bit and the price lowers. If you still want to play it then give it a shot.
