It’s no game of the year, but for 25$ it’s a lot of fun. I keep hearing this is dark souls with guns. I can see where people are coming from, but I wouldn’t make that description. There are definitely some similarities, but the main aspects that make dark souls so fun for me are not there. I just didn’t have the anticipation or drive to see what’s next around the corner. Finding chests/loot is pretty bland and boring every chest drops materials so you know what you’re getting every time. The only interesting thing are the craftable guns you get from materials that drop from different bosses. I’ve only found a couple weapons randomly placed. Each world is interesting but the locations so far or pretty much repeats of the style of the world. New locations pretty much look exactly like the last. I would compare it more to maybe borderlands? (Might be a really bad comparison but it’s what first popped in my head.) With some basics of dark souls.

I have a feeling my opinion might change as I play so I’ll be sure to change when it does since this game is meant to play through each world multiple times.
