This is a story about my first experiance with RUST.
I spawned into a world full of massive houses. Assuming they were filled with well armed people, I avoided them like the plague. This is how things went until I got beat to death with an axe. Second spawn I decided to build a structure. I found a nice clearing by some radiation and an animal spawn. I had just built a shack when I saw my second person ever. He turned out to be friendly and his name was cass. Me and cass were down on supplies until a kind soul named moldy gave us some weapons and supplies. He was our savior. Another man with a base at a hanger gave us all of his things when he was quiting. He left me with some sound wisdom "Remember, this is RUST, everyone dies". We took his things and built an actual house. After getting raided a few times moldy called out on the chat that he was looking for some teammates. Feeling obligated to help him me and cass joined up with the "Potato Army". We wandered around helping noobs and killing foes. We were invincible. Until we were killed by a hacker at a friendly rave at the hanger. Moldy and cass quit out and I was left with only one other army member, gummy, a girl who made cat noises into her mic for the next 7 hours. So I took moldy's stores of weapons and armor and started recruiting members into the reformed Potato Army. At my best we had around 5-15 members gathering wood to build a larger base. the base was almost done while I was negotiating with a man who said he could help us get airdrops. Then a hacker came and killed our entire base. The army was left with only 3 loyal members: me, gummy and a guy name phoenix. We were selective in who could get in our base, and we let the man I was negotiating with in because he said he could also help with the hacker that was killing us. Long story short he killed all of us and raided our base. But he didn't know the password to the door so he was locked in. He stayed there for an hour shouting about how he was a hacker and would ruin the server for us if we ever came back. So after 18 hours straight, 2 of my empires had risen and fallen in the same server.

Would I recamend this game? Yes. It is buggy, laggy, and filled with hackers, but if you manage to get yourself into a good position, nothing can make you feel bad.
