„Where Winds Meet” to gra zachwycająca artystycznie i pięknie osadzona w realiach średniowiecznych Chin. Niestety jej bogata oprawa wizualna ustępuje miejsca nachalnej monetyzacji niczym tania wersja Ubisoftu, która dominuje znaczny fragment doświadczenia. Choć zakupy nie są wymagane, mnogość walut i ofert zdradza, że system mikropłatności stanowi kluczowy element gry.
Osoby poszukujące wartościowej, satysfakcjonującej rozgrywki mogą czuć się rozczarowane — w takim przypadku znacznie lepszym wyborem będzie ponadczasowe „Dark Souls”.
