If you liked Act 1, you'll love Act 2!

Killer music, more grandiose settings, more characters, more adventures to be had, and your inventory carries over from the first game!

OK so a friend bought me this as a joke because I was a Homestuck hater and I've actually fallen in love with it.
It's so well made, it's charming, it's endearing, it's fun, and I found myself genuinely interested in the characters and world.

It does have a moment where it's all text based for a good while, but persevere, it gets better!
It's got all the fun of old school point-and-clicks without the tiresome elements.
You don't need to know anything else about the Homestuck universe, it's not essential reading to enjoy this game.
I've found myself recommending it to my friends and having really enjoyable playthrough sessions with them too!

This game rocks!
It's got all the fun of Dead Rising 2 but expanded and with a timeless free-play mode.
Buy it, chuck your friend the controller, and watch them wreak havoc.

Fun, cathartic, well made, and it'll run on anything.

I'd love to recommend this game but I just can't.
It looks great, soundtrack is kickin', but it plays like trash. The physics don't work like they should, a-la any Tony Hawk's game, and I felt like I was arguing with the controls the entire time. Such a shame.

Layers of Fear is trying to be P.T. SO bad but it fails to capture the essence of what made P.T. oppressive, dread-filled, and memorable. Sure there are a couple cool moments but the minute-to-minute gameplay is walking down corridors, and waiting for something loud to jump at you. It's trite, it's unoriginal, and it isn't scary, it's tiresome.

The story is flat and uninteresting, gameplay is clunky and boring, and for a game that advertises that it shapes itself to your agency, there are little to no "choices" to be seen. Do you open this door inwards, or outwards?!!!

If this game psychoanalysed me in any way it should have known that I was yearning to be playing a better game.
