Some very fun interactions with the environment and different characters.

It's not as complicated as the paradox games and the combat is a bit janky compared to Total War, but it does what it's designed to do quite well.

However, my review will be set to negative until Capcom improves performance, especially in the city.
The current state is unacceptable when you consider how well their other games run on the same engine.

Great game, but I can't recommend it, because Capcom just patched in Enigma DRM and broke Steam Deck support and mods.

As of today the game is being falsely advertised as Deck Verified on the store page and there's no mention of the above-mentioned DRM, which I didn't agree to when I bought/installed Rise.

The great rolling goodness, humour and soundtrack are on par with the first game, but this time you get to meet your 39 lost cousins, reenact your father's childhood trauma and pick 1 million roses.

The original game that was once fun and had potential got stripped of features and filled to the brim with microtransactions.

They also consciously lied before release to drive engagement by promising a fully fledged PvE mode with talent trees and progression, just to announce that it was cancelled in favor of more battlepass crap.

This is Blizzard's last attempt to milk the playerbase before it meets the same fate as Heroes of the Storm.

The new devs have no respect for the game and it's playerbase.
They are making changes to the game that nobody asked for.

The best story in an RGG Studio game so far in my opinion.
Solid combat, even though the Crane style is a bit lacking compared to Tiger.
Side cases were a bit subpar compared to the usual rgg substories.
Minigame content expands on the usual dragon engine arcade stuff with a couple cool additions like Kamuro of the Dead and Motor Raid.
VR Paradise wasn't very exciting, but it's necessary for money farming and the Drone races were alright. (hated the Kamuro tower sections)
Looking forward to the sequel!
