REPO (stylized as R.E.P.O.), at first, comes off as a game most commonly referred to nowadays as "friendslop"

FRIENDSLOP: A term for games particularly made to be played with friends, usually in a co-op style. Sometimes not made well. Repetitive gameplay. Does not stay popular for long. Also usually made by indie studios.

Be it as it may, if you want to call it "friendslop", then you may do so. However, out of most games in the same vain (Lethal Company, PEAK, etc, etc.), this game has shown time and time again that it is cultivated by a studio that desires to be the best in it's category, that being randomly generated co-operative survival horror.

The game can have it's moments, as can any game. Glitches (atleast in my own gameplay) are not common, however this can vary between all people. The game is very comical in nature, despite undertones of a very serious lore that has slowly began to show itself in the game's various maps.

SEMIWORK brings large updates in a timely manner, packed with new and exciting content that WILL keep you hooked as you discover all of it. The items you find will surprise, delight, terrify, and confuse you. Sometimes all at once. Be it comically large hourglasses that slow your speech (did i mention the game has proximity chat?) and time down around you, or boomboxes that force your head to bob up and down to the beat of it's music, the game won't disappoint.

An interesting concept, but little effort put into it. Hasn't received an update since June of this year (2021 at the time of writing), and that's disappointing. Can't wait to see what the game has in store, if it gets that far.

Well, i published this review on the free weekend, which could only mean one thing.
Yes, i bought the game on the free weekend. I have never played this game before, and yet, in my two hours of time i can say;This game is different. It is genuinely amazing watching the leviathan, giant dinosaurs roam the landscape of ARK. I thought the game was gonna be a bit, well, iffy. To say the least, it kind of is. A bit poorly made, but worth it. The landscapes are beautiful and the game is fun. It's a good time waster, and fun for really any type of person who is experienced with games and stuff. Maybe soon i can get the game and put some hours into it and bring more to this review...
