Paul joined Warwickshire Police in 2000 and worked for seven years on the response team in Nuneaton. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2007 where he supervised the then newly formed Central Safer Neighbourhood Team. Since then, he has assumed responsibility for Nuneaton North, West, and Town Centre SNTs. He is responsible for a team of six PCs and ten PCSOs. He is trained in public order, initial phase pursuit driving and area car trained. He is also qualified to the rank of Inspector.
