Pros & cons

Pros & Preferences

- In single player random deck they can use one of your decks ( obviously roflstomping whatever useless deck you are running with one of the better ones from your collection)
- It's magic like what you would expect
- Ui in game is clean
- Expansion of the draft mode
- Free for all focused
- Relatively simple
- The little sniplets of story are decent (though not sure where the voice acting went for some of them)
- Campaign is no longer as preset as before e.g (ai can also suffer from mana flooding and needs to mulligan)
- Teachs basics decently well
- Cards are gained slightly faster
- You can make your own decks
- Unlockable upto 826/976 at least

Cons

- It's a Stainless release ie. there are some funky or wonky interactions (check forums)
- No Two-headed giant
- No more puzzles
- Doesn't explain some rules (casting spells during declaring blockers ends the blocking step)
- Modders are going to take longer than usual to do anything
- Lack of card variety eg. lack of multi-colored spells
- No special Theros cards (in case your wondering)
- Lack of synergy between some showcase cards
- Grindfest as always
- Punishing rng and losses ( the usual)
- Navigation is a pain in the menu (taking time to load in and out)
- Adjustment of land is awful (auto-land option can screw you over) & (have you tried changing the number of land in a deck - well it'll take a minute)
- Feels like an Average port ( lack of typing or numpad use)
- Makes it look as if running anything other than a 60 card deck is wrong and unviable
- Some starter decks are awful (Red&Black is fine in my opinion though)
- The campaign opponents have more interesting decks and cards than yours
- Balanced mainly for a PvP focus
- No new modes
- Decks take a while to form (due to RNG Gods hating on you "not even going to try give you what you want")
- Cards are limited to 4 Commons, 3 Uncommons, 2 Rares, 1 Mythic
- Still no planeswalkers ( i trust in the modders to fix this )
- requires $24 to unlock all the cards in the game (gated "doubling season" away for me and my bad swarm deck)
- Some decks are near impossible to run (if you remember from 2014 the dracomancers welcome to hell) (try to win through pure milling and control, if you can well your lucky draws because the game has awful shuffling skills)
- Apparent gating of ~300 extra possible cards within the campaign
- Running mono requires a decent amount of unlocking
- Still capped to 100 cards per deck
- Does not support anymore than 3 color decks (lack of evolving winds but can be supplemented through purchases of premium booster packs)
- Non-Aggro decks are midly inefficient
- Cards such as doubling season, The paragons, phantasm dragon, Aura Gnarlid, Garruks packleader, hall of triumph, warstorm surge which can be core to a deck type are behind a paywall

P.s turn off that useless Auto-land, Auto-damage assign and the smart targeting
You also can't change to windowed mode in setting while in game, just in case your wondering where the option is because you enter the settings screen too often to notice that while in the menu there is an extra page 2

if you reset the deck to default decks the game will replace some cards with others which are blatantly better (creating a new deck under an archaetype)

- Traditional Burn decks are average if you could run less than 60 cards

Recommendation go buy Magic 2013 for vanilla game or 2014 modded they are worth it a bit more.
if you already own them well you get another booster or two in this game and you'll get a booster for next years version.
It is still a relatively enjoyable game
You get a real card which is decent maybe worth 2$
