Story and gameplay wise this game is a masterpiece and before I encountered the one little thing that makes this game a pile of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I thought $6 was a steal. However 14 hours in without realising that my game was not autosaving I attempt to save before exiting the game and discover the save function isnt even working. Even worse I realise that my last autosave was made hours before my last completed mission. After further research I discovered that some ding dong decided to make steam cloud saving compulsory for this game and since this game has such large save files the cloud fills up pretty quick which means saving functionality stops. This wouldve been completely fine if the game had warned me at the point this had happened and I wouldve been able to make some space for more save files but no I of course had to find this out hours later after making major progress through the game. Such a small little problem as this brings this game from god status to ♥♥♥♥ stain in my toilet status because saving is a critical part of any game and when you take that away from the player that is a serious problem. A warning about this enforced steam cloud saving wouldve been nice eidos and youve had years to do it now but it is quite clear the game has been abandoned and left to fester in the toilet where it belongs. Game saving is an essential part of any video game and should never be taken away.

This has to be my favourite of all the Batman games but unfortunately it looks like the last one that will be made. Arkham Knight does a great job of tying up every single event that has happened in the three games before it and I couldnt ask for a better way to end the Batman Arkham games. The story is great and gives you a lot to think about at the end of the game and its a reasonably lengthy story to go through. If the story isnt enough for you the game is still full of content even after you have completed the story since there are still many side missions to do. I personally have completed the game to 240% and I spent countless hours to get this which isnt something I normally do for any game but Arkham Knight is such a great game that it is worth it. The visuals are stunning even on my 3gb 1060 and performance is respectable considering I run on an older cpu. Yes the frame rate can be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at times and stutter when flying around the city and that may be from after effects of being a pc port but it seems a lot of triple a games have this problem as of late. Also if you found the combat in the previous Arkham games a bit clunky then you will love Arkham Knight. It seems to fix every problem with the old combat system and feels very smooth and becomes more smooth as you unlock upgrades. Although if you plan to play on pc the controls might need to be adjusted (the combo specials are impossible to trigger on default controls so I assigned it to a mouse button). Oh yeah and to top it all off the batmobile makes a cameo in this game which adds a whole other aspect to this game.
