Imagine a game like this on the 3DS where you can platform with depth perception.

fun when it works but that just isnt very often

You play as a box so its an instant 10/10 from me. A more substantial assessment might be that if you're good at wavedashing in melee, this game works as an interesting outlet for that otherwise incredibly niche skill, but its still kind of awkward for the average person.

Why can I review this, I don't have this on Steam. Wtf Microsoft. Who reviews Skyrim anyway, everyone already knows this game inside and out.

Playing through this game casually makes you feel like a speedrunner, causing you to die often because you are not a speedrunner.

If you're gonna be bad at something, go be bad at something else.

Went back and played it again since I didn't give it a fair go the first time. I Modded it to death, did every questline, played every class fairly thoroughly, I like it a lot more now than I did, but honestly I can't fathom why people like it better than Skyrim. Shivering Isles was cool, probably better than Skyrim's DLC, but not by much. Skyrim's magic has several outstanding flaws but Oblivion's magic is even worse. Lot's of memorable character's and quests, but all in all I just don't see the hype.

You know what I think? I think this game would have benefited from that remake Skyrim got that it didn't need. This game is a nice romp but it's dated beyond oversight.
